D3: St Louis rocks the NDC finals! (July 5th, 2013)

Rey becomes excited because of Taani and rushes to the stage. The D3 team wonder if Rey is going to make it on time but he gets there. The team wish each other the best and head to the stage. They give a rocking performance. After watching all the other performances, I would have to say that their performance was the most stylish. It had an awesome jazzy feel to it. I especially loved the whole atmosphere with the casino setting. Shantanu and Vrushika totally stole the show in this performance. Normally, I feel like Amar always gets the spotlight but this time, Shantanu and Vrushika were the main focus and they did not disappoint. Everyone performed well. Hats off to Shantanu and Macedon for choreographing the routine and making it truly different. Check out what the team had to say about their performance...



After the performance, the D3 team run off the stage in excitement. They are happy they had a good time and gave an awesome performance. Rey spots Taani and tries to make his way towards her. Taani watches as Rey tries to rush towards her. Mr. Shikhawat joins the team backstage. He tries to talk to Taani about Rey but Taani insists that there is nothing between them anymore. She then tells Tauji that she needs to leave for some work and rushes off. Meanwhile, a mystery man watches Rey from a distance. Wonder what that is going to lead to. Mr. Shikhawat congratulates Swayam and the rest of the team. Sharon is glad to see that he enjoyed the performance. Mr. Shikhawat thanks Sharon for making him realize how talented Swayam is. He puts his hand on her head and wishes her the best. Sharon gets excited and pulls Swayam away from the rest of the gang. She hugs him and kisses him in her excitement. Swayam's reaction to the kiss was hilarious! He didn't know what to say or do!

Rey finally breaks free from the rest of the gang and goes to the green room searching for Taani. He looks for her but ends up finding a note. Taani writes that although she still loves him, they can never be together. She told him the lie just so that he would perform his best and come through for the team. Rey gets angry and hurt by Taani's gesture. Taani watches Rey's outburst in silence from the corner of the room. After a while the rest of the gang make their way to the green room. As soon as Rey hears them approaching, he hurriedly leaves the room to brood alone. Swayam wonders why he's rushing out of the room but before he can do anything, the others direct his attention to the TV in the room. The announcer mentions that the judges are in a fix and can't seem to decide who the winners will be. The gang wonders what this means. They wonder if their performance made the cut. Taani joins the gang and reassures them that she hasn't heard anything yet.

Rey finds his way to the store room. There he breaks down and wonders why Taani lied to him. He feels betrayed. I wonder why he didn't think of that when he orchestrated the whole break up plan with Taani. He should have just talked to her rather that fake a break up. He totally proves the old adage - You don't know what you've lost, until it's gone. While Rey falls apart, the rest of the team wait and wonder what will happen next. The announcer asks all of the teams to come to the stage within five minutes. Sharon notices that Rey isn't with them. She also notices Taani's expression and figures out that something is amiss. She mentions it to Swayam but he brushes it aside. As the team makes their way to the stage, Swayam assures them that Rey will hear the announcement and join them on stage. Taani hopes that Rey can perform.

Once on stage, the announcer mentions that the judges were not able to decide which team should win so it is a tie for first place. It is revealed that Mount Carmela College and St Louis College are tied for first place. I believe they are going to have a face-off between the two teams and the winner of the face-off will be the winner of NDC. Will St. Louis win or lose? Will Rey perform with the team? What's next for Rey and the gang? Who was that mystery man watching Rey?

D3: Taani tells Rey that she has chosen her career over him... (July 1st, 2013)

Before I say anything else, how awesome was it watching Dil Dostii Dance for an hour! I loved it! I can't wait till the next Mega Monday for another hour long episode of D3!

Taani is upset after all the events that unfolded at the party. The VP was upset with the entire dance team for what happened and yelled at Taani and the entire team. Rey tried to apologize to Taani but Taani was too upset to even acknowledge his apology. Taani wonders how things became so bad. She resolves to move forward with her life and take control of her future. She looks into a university and decides to apply there for higher education. Rey calls Taani but she ignores his calls. Finally when she realizes that he won't stop calling her until she talks to him, Taani answers. Rey begs her to talk to him but she refuses. She notices that her bedroom window opened up and goes to close it. She sees Rey standing downstairs drenched in the rain but doesn't say anything. After a while she goes to the window and sees them still standing there. She goes downstairs and asks him to come inside. 

She gives Rey a towel but when he doesn't do anything, she goes ahead and starts wiping his hair. Rey takes a hold of her hand and once again confesses his love to her. Taani asks Rey that if loves her so much then why did he break up with her. Rey tells her that he wanted her to be a strong person and wanted her to have dreams for herself. Taani replies that she did have a dream for herself - being Rey's wife, but that wasn't good enough for him. She thanks Rey for thinking about her and her future. She tells him about her future plans and about her application for MBA. Rey is happy to hear about her plans but tries to convince her that they can still be together. Taani tells Rey that she has chosen her career over him. Rey is heartbroken by Taani's decision. Before leaving, he once again tells her that he loves her. 

Meanwhile, at St Louis, the boys goof around about what happened at the party. They make fun of Vicki for falling ill because of the drugs. The girls get upset at the boys because of their carefree attitude. Sharon shows the boys a video of Rey and Taani from the party. They boys are shocked to see what Rey said. Swayam gets upset. He decides to be with Taani to support her but Sharon stops him. She tells him that Rey and Taani should sort out their problems by themselves. Swayam agrees. Rey walks out completely heartbroken. Whenever Rey is heartbroken, he tends to dance. This time instead of dancing with himself, he dances with his friends or so he thinks. He feels completely alone. On a side note, I really liked the D3 version of Bezubaan! They used the whole rain element too but it was different compared the ABCD.  

The dance team focus on the NDC finals. They rehearse constantly and try to work hard. They really want to win NDC and bring the trophy home, especially after getting their second chance. Although Rey participates in the rehearsals, he seems very demoralized and the others sense it. They wonder if Rey will be able to perform during the finals. Swayam reassures the team members that even though Rey seems out of it, he will come through for them and perform at the finals. Sharon notices Swayam's concern for Rey and reassures him that Rey will come through. Taani too notices that Rey loses focus whenever she comes to rehearsals. Swayam hopes for the best as the NDC finals approach. 

Finally, it's the day. The NDC finals. The teams make their way to the venue. There is a lot of hoopla and the crowds cheer for their favorite teams. The St Louis team make their way to the venue. As the team are led in and taken to their green room, Sharon gets a phone call and Rey trails behind. Taani calls Sharon to tell her that she won't be coming to the finals. Sharon tries to convince her to come but to no avail. Rey overhears the conversation and figures out that Taani doesn't want to come to the finals. He immediately heads out to get Taani. Sharon tells Swayam that Taani doesn't want to come to the venue. She also tells Swayam that she will try to get Taani to come. Sharon talks to Taani and tries to convince her to come but Taani tells her that she doesn't want Rey to lose focus because of her presence. At the venue, Amar aggravates his injured foot. The team members get concerned as Aashi, Vicki and Amar are not dancing while Sharon and Rey are missing.  

Meanwhile, Rey too makes his way towards Taani's place. He runs into Mr. Shikhawat in the hallway. Mr. Shikhawat asks Rey what he's doing there? Rey tells him that he came to get Taani. Mr. Shikhawat informs him that Sharon came to get Taani and is talking to her. Mr. Skikhawat suggests that they go out lunch but Rey refuses telling him that he needs to get to the venue as soon as possible. When Mr. Shikhawat asks him why he needs to be at the venue, Rey tells him that truth about he being a member of the dance team. Mr Shikhawat gets upset and asks him why he hid the fact that he is dancer. Rey tells him that he hid it because Taani insisted that he hide it. He also tells Mr. Shikhawat that he loves Taani. Mr. Shikhawat gets more upset and asks Rey to leave but when Rey refuses to leave, he slaps him. Poor Rey! First Kriya and now Mr. Shikhawat! What's next for Rey and Taani? Will Rey be able to perform at the NDC finals? Will Taani make it to the NDC finals? How will the St Louis team fare?

D3: Sharon admits that she has fallen for Swayam... (June 10th, 2013)

When the doctor tells the D3 gang that only one person can see Swayam, Rey asks Sharon to go. Sharon goes in and watches on as Swayam rests. When Swayam sees her, he tries to move but he puts pressure on his shoulder. Sharon tries to pacify him. He asks her why she came. She tells him that she wanted to see how he was doing. Swayam asks her to leave and send Rey in instead. Sharon asks him why he's acting differently with her. Swayam finally tells her how he feels. He tells her that is tired of being toyed with constantly. He does not want to be switched on and off based on her moods. He also tells her that he doesn't trust himself when he is around her. Sharon is shocked at Swayam's response and leaves the room.

Meanwhile, Taani argues with Rey. She asks him why she sent Sharon in to see Swayam. Rey lies and tells her that Sharon wanted to talk to Swayam about a secret event. Taani gets even more upset when she hears about the so called secret event. She starts grilling Rey about the specifics of the secret event, when Sharon comes by and tells them that Swayam wants to talk to Rey. Rey is happy to leave and rushes to see Swayam. When he enters the room, he sees Swayam resting. Swayam finally opens his eyes and is happy to see Rey. Rey apologizes to Swayam for making him dance. Swayam tells him that he didn't do anything wrong. After all the seriousness, ReYam share a good laugh. Finally Rey asks Swayam why he let Sharon out. Swayam tells him that he doesn't want to make any more mistakes with Sharon. What does that mean? Does that mean Swayam doesn't want to be in a relationship with Sharon anymore? Does that mean he wants Sharon to move forward? I wonder what's next for SwaRon.

Taani questions Sharon about the secret event. When Sharon is confused by her questions, Taani figures out that there is no such event. Rey just made that story up so that he could send Sharon in to see Swayam first. Taani realizes that Rey understands everyone's problems. She wonders why he wasn't able to understand her. Oh Taani! Rey understands you the best. He knows what's good for you. No wonder he is doing all of this. I can't wait till when Taani finds out the truth and truly appreciates Rey. I can only imagine how much more Taani will love Rey for doing what he did.

Sharon thinks about what Swayam said to her. She wonders what made him act the way he did. She gets really angry and decides to do some yoga to calm herself. She imagines Swayam as the yoga instructor. Over the course of her meditation she realizes all the grief that she caused Swayam with her constant mood swings. She also realizes that she is in love with Swayam. She decides that moving forward she will do all she can to please him. Taani and Swayam finally make their way home. There Mr. Shikhawat wonders why they are so late. When he sees them, he asks them about the event. Taani tells him that the St. Louis Dance Team were awesome. She tells him that they performed very well especially Swayam. However, she mistakenly tells him about Swayam's accident. Mr. Shikhawat berates Swayam for being so weak and wrecking the team's performance with his fall. He tells Taani not to be surprised if the team doesn't make it to the finals because of Swayam's fall.

Will Mr. Shikhawat's prediction come true? Will Swayam's fall cost the St. Louis Dance Team their place in the final? Let's wait and watch...

Daily Update: D3, May 22nd 2013

The St. Louis dance team reach the venue for the NDC quarters. They all assemble in the green room and try out different things to get rid of their pre performance jitters. Rey enjoys watching his teammates try to release their stress doing stupid things. When Nilesh and Vicki confront him, he tells them that after a long time he has gotten the chance to experience pre performance jitters. He also tells them that he really misses the feeling. Vicki questions him about the last time. Just then Taani walks in and Rey and Taani think back to what happened during the previous NDC performance. Sharon and Swayam notice the sadness in Rey's expression. Swayam rallies the team together and they prepare for the performance.

While the team gets ready, Swayam notices Sharon and just can't seem to take his eyes off of her. Sharon notices Swayam's gaze and walks upto Rey and Swayam. She asks Rey how she looks. Rey notices Swayam's expression and asks Swayam the same question. When Swayam walks away, Rey teases Sharon. I really hope now that Rey is not busy with Taani all the time, he brings Swayam and Sharon together. Yes I know he promised Sharon that he wouldn't try but even he knows that they are meant to be together! Finally the team is summoned to the main stage. All the teammates congratulate one another. Taani wishes Rey best of luck while Sharon and Swayam wish each other.

Mr. Shikhawat calls Taani since he got back from his business conference. He tells Taani that he would like to have dinner with her and Swayam. He later tells her to invite Rey as well. Taani makes up an excuse for Rey saying that he is too busy but Mr. Shikhawat insists that she invite him. Finally the team get to the stage and notice that they have the same judges from the eliminations. Nilesh gets worried when he sees him. The team hopes that he will not penalize them for what happened during the Dance Camp. Swayam encourages the team and tells them to focus on their routine and give their best. The D3 team perform an emotional routine. 

After the performance, Taani wonders if Tauji should find out the truth about Rey. She comes to the conclusion that telling Tauji about Rey's truth after NDC is the right choice. She hopes that once St. Louis wins NDC, Tauji will be impressed with Rey and try to understand Swayam's choices. Once again Taani decides to hide the truth and go with lies. Oh Taani when will you learn that honesty is the best policy?

Where's Aashi? She's been missing for almost a week now. Hope she comes back soon...

In other news, according to this article, a whole lot of things are going to take place in D3. The performances and the NDC drama will continue of course but along with all that things will change for SwaRon and TaaRey. Where Sharon and Swayam get closer to each other, Taani and Rey will drift further apart. Hopefully, there is an epic SwaRon confession in the future...
