D3: Sharon is appointed as the new GS... (July 18th, 2013)

The VP meets with Swayam and Aashi again. He calls Sharon and requests that she become the new GS. Sharon accepts the position. The VP tells her to meet him when she gets back to college after her chicken pox ordeal ends. Swayam and Aashi leave the VP's cabin. Aashi tells Swayam that she is excited that Sharon will be the new GS. Swayam agrees that Sharon will do a good job. Aashi wonders how Sharon is coping with her chicken pox. Swayam assures her that Sharon will be fine when she gets back. The boys see SwaAshi together and make comments about their chemistry. The girls see them and scold the boys for commenting on them when they in front of them. The entire gang surround Swayam and tell him about the ideas that they came up with to cheer up Rey.

Swayam tells them that they shouldn't do anything special. In stead they should be behave normally with Rey. Rey on the other hand thinks about how he will get over Taani. He decides to always be with the gang and join them for all their activities. The gang agrees with Swayam and make their way to class. Rey joins them a bit later. Swayam says hi and asks him if he is okay. Rey nods. The rest of gang just look on. They wonder what to say to make Rey happy again. Swayam texts them and tells them not to ignore Rey. Rey wonders why his friends are not talking to him. Just then Nilesh says hi to him and the rest of the gang follow. Swayam notices that Rey is still quiet and make an announcement. He tells everyone that Sharon is going to be the new GS.

Everyone is excited to hear the news. Aashi pulls Swayam aside and asks him with Rey will get sad hearing GS. Swyam assures him that Rey is fine. The entire gang starts celebrating. They pretend that Sharon is present in her chair and congratulate her. They pull Rey to the chair and ask him to participate as well. Rey reluctantly agrees and starts dancing with them. The professor comes in and yells at them for disrupting his class. He takes Rey to the VP and tells him all that happened in class. The VP gets upset by the D3 gang's behavior and sentences them to detention. He tells Rey that the entire team will have to clean the basketball court as punishment. Rey tells the team about their punishment. They get upset. Just when they are about to leave, the VP calls Rey back into his cabin. Aditya comes in and joins them. The VP tries to convince Rey to take Aditya's offer. He tells him that Aditya will advertise the name of St Louis and make sure that the college is known.

Will Rey take up Aditya's offer? How will the team feel about it? Will this break up ReYam's friendship? How will Sharon react?

So it looks like Vrinda is leaving D3 after all. Her role as Taani has ended and she is no longer a part of D3. Check out this article where she talks about her experience being a part of D3. If rumors are to be believed then Charlie aka Amar's girlfriend will be making her entry in D3 as Rey's new love interest...

D3: Taani leaves St Louis... (July 17th, 2013)

Taani is touched by the farewell party. Everyone enjoys the party and wishes Taani all the best for her future plans. Swayam tells Taani that even though Sharon couldn't come to the party, she sent something special for her. Sharon makes a touching powerpoint presentation for Taani wishing her the best and thanking her for all she has done for the team and the college. She also tells Taani that they all love her and will miss her after she leaves. Rey gets emotional and leaves the room. Taani notices that he left and goes to find him. Taani finds Rey in the kitchen. She asks Rey to promise that he will move on after she leaves. She tells him that she wants him to be happy and become like the old Rey she first met when she came to St Louis. Rey agrees and promises her that he will do everything that she asked him to do. She then leads him back to the party. 

The next day the gang go to the rehearsal hall to ease their sadness. They try to dance but nothing happens smoothly. They wonder why they feel so down after Taani left. They stop dancing and stat becoming sad. Meanwhile, Swayam and Aashi meet with the VP. They talk to the VP about who would take over the position of GS now that Taani is gone. The VP asks why Rey isn't present for such an important meeting. Swayam makes up and excuse for Rey. Swayam asks if they will hold mid-term elections. The VP suggests that they suggest a name who is capable and he will appoint them rather than holding mid-term elections. Aashi suggests Rey for GS. Swayam immediately disagrees and tells the VP that Rey isn't in the right frame of mind to take over the GS position. The VP mentions that he always knew that there was something between Rey and Taani. Aashi then suggests Sharon for the GS position. Swayam agrees with her this time. The VP tells them that he will thinks about it and get back to them.

Aashi and Swayam make their way to rehearsal hall and see all the rest of gang depressed. Swayam tells them that they should move on and become happy again. He mentions that if Rey sees them like this then it will make him feel bad. Swayam suggests that the best way they can come out of their depression is to start dancing again. Aashi agrees with Swayam and the boys stare at Swayam and Aashi. Rey makes him way to college and is approached by Aditya Khurrana. Aditya introduces himself as a talent manager and tells Rey that he can make him a star. He promises Rey to make him huge star rather than just popular in the college circuit. Rey thanks Aditya for his interest but refuses his offer. He tells him that he doesn't feel like he is ready for such an opportunity at this time. 

Will Rey agree to be represented by Aditya? What happens to the rest of the team? Will Sharon become the new GS? Let's see...   

D3: Taani asks Rey not to stop her... (July 16th, 2013)

Taani is shocked to see Rey lying in bed with bandages on  his arm and leg. She scolds Rey for harming himself. She blames her love for causing Rey to become so weak. She tells Rey that this isn't the Rey that she fell in love with. Rey feels bad for hurting Taani and tells her the truth. He tells her that he pretended to be hurt to stop her from leaving. He confesses to Taani that this was all a plan. Taani gets hurt when she finds out that Rey was just acting. She tells Rey about how she feels. Taani tells Rey that their love only caused them pain. She also tells Rey that she doesn't want to cause him any more pain. She requests Rey to let her go. Rey watches in pain as Taani walks out his life. Rey breaks down after Taani leaves. Swayam and the rest of the D3 gang watch as Rey breaks down. Swayam comforts Rey.

Taani gets back to packing. She is in tears as she remembers her conversation with Rey. Swayam knocks on her door and checks up on her. He tells her that he felt very bad when he found out about her leaving from his friends. Taani tries to apologize but Swayam stops her. He tells her that he understood why she did what she did. He tells Taani that even though he can't stop her from leaving, he can do something else. He leads Taani out where the rest of the D3 gang surprise her with a farewell party. Taani is touched by their gesture. Everyone thank Taani for all that she did for the team. They also wish her the best for the future. Taani looks around and wonders if Rey is also present. Just when she asks Swayam, Rey steps in.

As far as I can tell, Vrinda isn't leaving Dil Dostii Dance. I wonder why Taani is leaving St. Louis. All we have to do is wait and watch...

D3: Taani announces that she's leaving... (July 12th, 2013)

Swayam is shocked to see Taani's things all packed up. He tells Rey that Taani has packed up her things and leaving for real. Rey panics and asks Swayam to meet him in the rehearsal hall as soon as possible. Taani makes her way to college before Swayam gets back. She thinks about how odd it feels to leave St Louis. Meanwhile, Rey wonders how he will be able to stop Taani from leaving. Swayam makes his way to college and tries to call Sharon but she doesn't respond. Rey calls Swayam and asks him where he is. Swayam assures Rey that he is in college and will meet him soon. Rey mentions that he was trying to call Sharon but didn't get a response from her. Swayam finally makes his way to the rehearsal hall. As soon Rey sees him, he hugs him and begs him to do something to stop Taani. 

Swayam feel suffocated and jokes that no wonder Taani is leaving him. He later notices Rey's hurt and apologizes for the bad joke. He assures Rey that if they stop Taani together, she won't leave them. Just then the rest of the D3 gang make their way to the rehearsal hall. They overhear ReYam and wonder how Taani suddenly decided to leave St Louis. Rey becomes emotional and begs Swayam to do something to stop Taani. He tells Swayam that he can't be without Taani. The rest of the gang assemble together for a group hug. Bharat wonders out loud if they really have to stop Taani. Rey gets upset and almost picks a fight with Bharat but Swayam calms him down. Aashi suggests that they all come up with a plan as soon as possible. Every one starts thinking of ways to stop Taani. Aashi comes up with a a plan.

A group of students assemble in the atrium with signs and banners congratulating the St Louis dance team for their NDC victory. The entire dance team make their way to the atrium. Aashi explains that when everyone congratulate Taani for her achievement, she will get emotional and change her mind about leaving. Rey agrees. All of the team members celebrate their victory. Finally the VP makes his way to the atrium and congratulates the team for their victory. He also calls Taani up and congratulates her for all of her hard work. He asks Taani to say a few words. Taani thanks the group for all of their hard work. She also thanks the VP and the dance team for always supporting her. Finally she announces that she is glad that her last assignment at St Louis was a successful one. The D3 gang shake their heads as their plan to stop Taani failed. While Taani talks, Swayam's phone starts ringing. Sharon calls Swayam but he is unable to answer the call.

After the crowd disperses, Taani explains to the VP that she has chosen to leave St Louis because of some personal problems. She thanks him for all of his support and apologizes for all of her past mistakes. The VP although shocked by her decision, wishes her the best for her future. Taani addresses the D3 gang and tells them that she will miss them dearly. She gets emotional when she sees Rey and runs out of the atrium. Swayam and Nilesh stop Rey from running after Taani and assure him that they will think of something. How will they stop Taani from leaving? What is up with Sharon? 

For those of you who aren't aware, Vrushika was down with chicken pox which means Sharon will be missing for a couple episodes. Hopefully she gets better soon! It all started with Archie getting sick, hence he is MIA too. Hopefully he's back and no one else gets sick!

D3: St Louis is back in the NDC Finals! (June 21st, 2013)

As soon as Taani reaches St Louis, she decides to have a meeting with the D3 team and tell them about it. Rey sees Taani and tries to talk to her. Taani notices his change in outfit but doesn't say anything. Instead she tells him that she something very important to do. She sends a message to each team member asking them to meet her immediately. Sharon and Swayam get the message and wonder what Taani has for them. They reluctantly make their way to the meeting. Once there, all the team members wonder what Taani has to tell them. The ask Aashi since she is CS if she knows anything. But even she denies knowing why Taani asked them to meet with her.

Finally Taani comes in and tells the D3 gang about the meeting. She tells them that one of the finalists had to withdraw because of some personal problems. She also tells the team that the judge who gave them a lower score was asked to step down. She assures the team that he will no longer be judging any NDC event. The team is excited to hear this but feel like their excitement is useless as they are no longer part of NDC. That's when the VP steps in and tells the team that because of Taani's brilliant presentation, St Louis has secured a spot in the NDC finals! The team is overjoyed when they hear that they are back in NDC. Once everything settles down, Simmi points out that the dates for Jashn and NDC clash. Sharon gets worried and wonders how she'll manage everything. Swayam assures her that things will fall into place.

Rey is beyond happy with all the good news. He pulls Taani aside and tells her that he has something to tell her. He pulls out a rose from his jacket and tells Taani that he loves her. Taani accepts the rose but crushes it much to Rey's surprise. Rey doesn't give up hope and pulls her into the rehearsal hall and does a whole song and dance routine for her. When Taani finally has enough of his shenanigans, she tells him that she doesn't have any feelings for him anymore. She tells him that he doesn't mean anything to her so she can't have any feelings for him. Rey is hurt and tries to explain to her that the breakup was fake but Taani misunderstands him and leaves the room is disgust.

Will Rey be able to win Taani back? Or will Taani close her heart to Rey forever? All we can do is wait and watch...

D3: Swayam and Sharon confess their feelings to each other... (June 20th, 2013)

Rey decides that he needs to do something to get Taani's attention. He decides to get a makeover. He changes his outfit and goes to college hoping that Taani notices him. Meanwhile, Swayam, Sharon and the rest of the D3 gang wait for their next lecture. The girls talk about Jashn. Neha asks Sharon if she has spoken to Swayam recently. Sharon instantly gets conscious and tells Neha that she has no reason to talk to Swayam. Simmi notices Sharon's odd behavior and tells her to calm down. She explains that Neha wanted to know if Swayam talked to her about the choreography for Jashn. Swayam notices Sharon's outburst too and tells her that if she doesn't relax, everyone will find out about their relationship. 

Rey makes an appearance. The D3 team notice his new and improved look and complement him. Swayam wonders why he decides to change midway and Rey tells him that it is all for Taani. Swayam gives him his blessing. Taani meets with the NDC officials. She notices the General Secretaries of two other colleges in the meeting as well. The officials tell them that one of the finalists had to drop out due to some personal issues and they now have a space available in the NDC finals. The official asks each of the GSs to make a case for their team and prove that they deserve to be in the finals of NDC. Taani makes her case by showing the officials the variety of performances that St Louis has showcased thus far. Meanwhile, the D3 team rehearse for Jashn. They are happy with their routine and decide to head to the cafeteria. 

While the group makes their way to the cafeteria, Swayam tells Sharon that he needs to talk to her. When Sharon refuses, he pulls her in an empty class. Swayam finally tells Sharon how he feels about her. Sharon is happy to hear about Swayam's feelings and expresses her happiness. Swayam is overjoyed to finally be in a relationship with Sharon, the girl of his dreams. Sharon in her happiness declares that she wants to tell everyone about their relationship. Swayam tells her to wait. He tells her that in the past things haven't always been rosy for them. Sharon understands his sentiments and thanks him for being so patient with her. I've got to say this was the most romantic SwaRon moment ever! VruShan have amazing chemistry and I'm so glad that they are able to bring the romance back to SwaRon!

Taani makes her way to St Louis and wonders about the meeting. She decides to tell the D3 gang about the meeting as soon as possible. 

D3: Rey wonders if he's lost Taani for good... (June 19th, 2013)

The entire gang sing a song while the boys wonder if Rey and Taani are back together. Rey doesn't say anything. Meanwhile, the professor appears and lecture begins. Rey wonders why Taani isn't in class. Swayam and Sharon on the other hand are too busy staring at each other to notice anything else around them! Rey tries to get Swayam'a attention but in vain. Finally he writes Swayam a not asking him if he knows why Taani isn't in class. Swayam thinks Sharon wrote him the note but is disappointed when he opens it and reads it. He tells Rey that he doesn't know why Taani isn't in class and continues to focus his attention on Sharon. Finally class ends and everyone walks towards the cafeteria.

Taani on the other hand, was meeting with the VP. The VP tells her that he got a call from the NDC authorities. They asked that Taani, being the GS of the college, represent the team at a meeting which was going to be held at their offices. Taani wonders what the meeting is going to be about. The VP tells her that they did not divulge any information and mentioned that she will find out the agenda only when she gets there. Taani wonders if they want to meet with her because of the blog post on the college website. Taani assures the VP that if the meeting is about her blog post, she will make it clear that it was her opinion and not that of the college. The VP advises Taani to keep her emotions under control when she speaks with the NDC authorities. Finally, he makes a comment about how similar she is to Rey. He tells her that both of them are aggressive as a GS.

After the meeting, Taani ponders about the VP's comment. She wonders how and when she became like Rey. She realizes that she was always a bit like Rey but never truly acknowledged it. While she is deep in thought, Rey spots her. He realizes he is alone and decides that he should tells her how he truly feels about her. Just when he starts walking towards her, the entire gang materialize. They congratulate Taani about her brave blog post. The all thank her for all of her efforts. Rey gives Swayam a look and Swayam understands. Swayam reminds the team that they shouldn't waste any time and start rehearsals for Jashn. Although the team agrees and starts making their way to the rehearsal hall, they are shocked that Swayam has agreed to perform. Bharat makes a comment about how everything is weird since Rey is running after Taani and Swayam has agreed to perform!

Rey walks around the college with Taani as she does her duties. He wonders how and when he will finally be able to tell her the truth. Taani notices Rey walking with her and finally asks him if he has something to tell her. Rey asks her why she bunked class. Taani tells him that she was in a meeting with the VP. She also tells him that she has to go for a meeting with the NDC officials. Rey tells her not to be afraid and if they ask her about the blog, she should lie. Taani replies that she isn't afraid and she will speak the truth if questioned. Rey marvels at how strong Taani has become. He even tells her that she's changed. Taani tells him that breaking up with him was the best decision of her life and leaves for her meeting. Rey watches her leave and wonders if he lost Taani for good. Will Taani forgive Rey? Will TaaRey get back together?  

D3: Taani posts a blog post about NDC on the college site... (June 18th, 2013)

Taani asks Aashi to read a blog post on the college website. The blog post mentions that the St Louis dance team lost by one point. The post also accuses a judge of being partial and against the St Louis team from the start. After reading the post, Aashi asks Taani if they are allowed to have such a post on the college website. She also asks Taani who wrote the post. Taani tells Aashi that she wrote the post and wanted to do something to make the NDC officials aware of the injustice that the team has to face. Aashi tells Taani that she accomplished her mission as the post already got more that 20,000 comments and views. 

Later in the day, the VP summons Rey and Taani in his cabin for an important meeting. As soon as they enter the cabin, the VP goes off on Rey. He tells him that just because St Louis lost that does not give him the license to express his opinions on the college website. Rey wonders what the VP is talking about. That's when Taani steps in and tells the VP that the blog post was her idea. She tells the VP that she was able to find out why St Louis was disqualified from NDC. She also tells the VP that she was merely posting the truth and wanted to make sure that the NDC officials are aware of the seriousness of the matter. She apologizes for causing the VP tension but does not apologize for putting up the post. Rey watches and listens as Taani takes up the team's defeat. 

After the meeting, Rey tells Taani that he is really impressed with all of her efforts. He tells her that she is doing a great job fighting for the team. Taani rudely dismisses Rey by telling him that she is merely doing her job as she is the GS after all. After Taani leaves, Rey decides that now that Taani is finally focusing on her career and expressing her opinions, his mission is successful. He decides to tell Taani about his intentions behind the breakup and get back together. The next morning, Rey and Swayam both get ready for college. They both have a big day ahead of them. Swayam will be meeting Sharon for the first time after she professed her love for him and Rey will finally be telling Taani the truth. Rey meets Swayam at college and tells him that he will be confessing his love for Taani. Swayam gets excited and give him his blessing!

Meanwhile at college, Sharon puts on the perfume that Swayam gave her under the pretense of being her secret admirer. I still wonder how she didn't figure out that Swayam was a her secret admirer. Anyway, as Sharon gets all prepped, Taani makes her way to meet with the VP. He tells her that he got a call from the NDC authorities asking Taani to meet with them. Taani wonders what the meeting would be about and the VP tells her that they will only talk to her. Rey and Swayam make their way to class and see the entire gang except for Sharon and Taani. When Sharon appears, Swayam steps forward to talk to her and fumbles! It's so cute when he fumbles! Rey sings a song for the two of them while the rest of the gang think that he is back with Taani. 

I have a feeling that Taani will not be running into Rey's open arms anytime soon. Homegirl was really hurt when Rey broke up with her and won't accept his I-just-wanted-to-make-you-a-better-person speech. Besides, whenever TaaRey are together, SwaRon have problems so now that SwaRon are finally together, TaaRey just automatically have to have problems...

D3: Sharon defends Swayam... (12th June, 2013)

Taani goes to the NDC office to meet with the person in-charge of the whole thing. She asks him why St. Louis College was disqualified. When he refuses to answer her questions, she tells him that no matter what she will find out the truth. If he does not give her the answers she is looking for, she will use technology to find out if the results for the contest were rigged against St. Louis. Taani sure did get her fire back! Can't wait to find out why St. Louis is no longer in NDC. For some reason I have a feeling that Mr. Shikhawat was involved in some way.

The D3 gang sit in the rehearsal hall moping. That's when Mr. Shikhawat calls Swayam. Sharon notices Swayam's phone vibrating and turns it off when she sees that Mr. Shikhawat is calling. He calls again and this time Swayam catches her before she can disconnect the call. He answers the phone. Mr Shikhawat accuses Swayam of ruining the St Louis team's performance. He also blames Swayam for putting Taani in an embarrassing situation. The rest of the team hears Mr. Shikhawat and wonder why he is so harsh with Swayam. Sharon takes the phone from Swayam and berates Mr. Shikhawat for being so harsh with his son. She defends him to his dad while the rest of the team watch in surprise. After she hangs up, Swayam asks her why she created a scene.

Simmi suggests that the team hang out in the cafeteria. Rey pulls Swayam aside and tries to explain Sharon's actions. He makes Swayam understand that the reason why Sharon is acting the way she is is because she loves him. Swayam is surprised to find out that Sharon actually loves him. Rey encourages him to move forward and confess his true feelings to her. ReYam finally have a semi comedy scene after ages! Meanwhile, Simmi confronts Sharon about her feelings for Swayam. Sharon admits that she has feelings for Swayam. She also tells Simmi that until the team performs at another event, Swayam will not get out his slump. She comes up with the idea of getting the team back into Jashn and makes Simmi promise that she will not tell anyone else about their plan.

Later, Sharon goes to meet Swayam at his house. Swayam open the door and is surprised to see her. He asks her if she has finally fallen in love with him. Sharon nods! I have a feeling this is another one of Sharon's daydreams about Swayam! The upcoming episode seems like a firecracker. Wonder how SwaRon's love story will move forward.

D3: Sharon gives Mr. Shikhawat a piece of her mind... (June 5th, 2013)

When the D3 team share their doubts about Swayam's participation, Sharon asks the team to have some confidence in Swayam. She makes the team realize that Swayam is an excellent dancer. She assures the team that no matter how painful the injury, Swayam will not let the team down during the NDC semis. Rey joins in and tells the team about Swayam's rehearsals. He assures the team that Swayam will watch videos of the rehearsals and practice the routine. The team goes along with Sharon and Rey and start to believe in Swayam's ability.

Meanwhile, a physiotherapist takes a look at Swayam's injury. During the treatment session, Sharon comes to Swayam's place with her family physiotherapist. She barges into Swayam's room and tells her therapist to take over. Taani tries to stop her which results in Taani and Sharon fighting over who will care for Swayam's injury. Mr. Shikhawat comes in to check on the commotion and makes a remark about Swayam's lack of strength. Swayam gets upset and asks everyone to leave him alone. Sharon, Taani, the therapists and Mr. Shikhawat all leave. Taani asks the therapists to leave since Swayam will not continue his treatment.

Mr. Shikhawat once again comments on Swayam's weakness. Taani tries to correct him but he doesn't change his attitude. That's when Sharon takes over. She tells Mr. Shikhawat to stop making an opinion about Swayam's injury without understanding the gravity of the situation. She gives him a mini lecture about how he should be concerned about his son's health rather than making him feel useless because he is injured. When Mr. Shikhawat retorts back, Sharon finally has the last word and leaves. Mr. Shikhawat makes a comment about Sharon's attitude and Taani informs him that Sharon is the college diva. He wonders what the college diva is doing with Swayam.

The next morning, Taani has a meeting with the VP. The VP questions her about why she didn't inform him about Swayam's injury. Taani tells the VP that even though Swayam is injured he will perform at the Semis. She convinces the VP that Swayam will give his best and is saving all of his energy for the stage performance. Will Swayam make it to the stage performance? Let's wait and watch...

D3: Swayam's injury gets aggravated... (May 29th, 2013)

Taani calls the D3 team for a meeting to speak to them about NDC. She wants them to realize that taking up an event during NDC is a bad decision. The entire team see her waving around a stick and talking to herself in the projector room. They wonder if she's finally gone over the edge! Sharon finally steps in and snaps Taani out of her speech! Taani addresses the group and tells them that she found out that they have gotten an event offer. The team is surprised and wonder how she found out about the event. Aashi tells Taani that what she heard is true but adds that the team has decided not to take up the event. When Taani hears that they are not participating in the event, she throws away her speech and joins the team for their rehearsals.

The VP and Taani come and watch the dance rehearsals. The VP congratulates the team for making it to the Semis of NDC. He wishes them the best and leaves. Taani stays back and watches the rehearsal. Rey suggests that the team practice their lifts for the rest of the rehearsal. When Swayam lifts Sharon, he hurts his back further. Sharon gets very concerned. Rey tells the other team members to continue practicing their lifts and he tells Sharon to make sure that Swayam is all right. The other members wonder if Swayam's injury will result in him not being able to participate in NDC. They get worried but Taani assures them that no matter what Swayam will participate.

Rey asks Taani for a list of their competitors. While they discuss the rest of the team notices the tension between them. They comment that even though they are not together anymore, they still have strong chemistry between them. Meanwhile, Sharon watches as a physiotherapist makes Swayam do exercises. She scolds the therapist for not doing his job appropriately. Once again, Sharon's concern and overprotective side takes over and Swayam notices the change in Sharon's demeanor. Finally the therapist falls down and gets injured himself and leaves.

Daily Update: D3, May 22nd 2013

The St. Louis dance team reach the venue for the NDC quarters. They all assemble in the green room and try out different things to get rid of their pre performance jitters. Rey enjoys watching his teammates try to release their stress doing stupid things. When Nilesh and Vicki confront him, he tells them that after a long time he has gotten the chance to experience pre performance jitters. He also tells them that he really misses the feeling. Vicki questions him about the last time. Just then Taani walks in and Rey and Taani think back to what happened during the previous NDC performance. Sharon and Swayam notice the sadness in Rey's expression. Swayam rallies the team together and they prepare for the performance.

While the team gets ready, Swayam notices Sharon and just can't seem to take his eyes off of her. Sharon notices Swayam's gaze and walks upto Rey and Swayam. She asks Rey how she looks. Rey notices Swayam's expression and asks Swayam the same question. When Swayam walks away, Rey teases Sharon. I really hope now that Rey is not busy with Taani all the time, he brings Swayam and Sharon together. Yes I know he promised Sharon that he wouldn't try but even he knows that they are meant to be together! Finally the team is summoned to the main stage. All the teammates congratulate one another. Taani wishes Rey best of luck while Sharon and Swayam wish each other.

Mr. Shikhawat calls Taani since he got back from his business conference. He tells Taani that he would like to have dinner with her and Swayam. He later tells her to invite Rey as well. Taani makes up an excuse for Rey saying that he is too busy but Mr. Shikhawat insists that she invite him. Finally the team get to the stage and notice that they have the same judges from the eliminations. Nilesh gets worried when he sees him. The team hopes that he will not penalize them for what happened during the Dance Camp. Swayam encourages the team and tells them to focus on their routine and give their best. The D3 team perform an emotional routine. 

After the performance, Taani wonders if Tauji should find out the truth about Rey. She comes to the conclusion that telling Tauji about Rey's truth after NDC is the right choice. She hopes that once St. Louis wins NDC, Tauji will be impressed with Rey and try to understand Swayam's choices. Once again Taani decides to hide the truth and go with lies. Oh Taani when will you learn that honesty is the best policy?

Where's Aashi? She's been missing for almost a week now. Hope she comes back soon...

In other news, according to this article, a whole lot of things are going to take place in D3. The performances and the NDC drama will continue of course but along with all that things will change for SwaRon and TaaRey. Where Sharon and Swayam get closer to each other, Taani and Rey will drift further apart. Hopefully, there is an epic SwaRon confession in the future...

Daily Update: D3, May 21st 2013

After the meeting with Taani everyone heads to the rehearsal hall to prepare for the NDC quarters. Swayam comes back and thanks Taani for arranging for the videos. He tells her that with the help of the videos the dance team can make appropriate plans for the future. Taani thanks Swayam for the encouragement and heads to the girl's locker room. There she sees Sharon. When she doesn't say a word, Sharon congratulates her for earning back the trust of the team. Taani assures her that she will continue to work hard despite her breakup with Rey. Sharon is glad to see that Taani is on the right track and that Rey's plan is working. Just the Rey calls her.

Rey is happy to see that Taani is becoming independent again. He expresses his happiness to Sharon and thanks her for supporting him. Sharon too tells Rey that Taani is definitely on the right track and later when Taani finds out Rey's true intentions, she will definitely get back with him. Rey thanks Sharon for keeping their plan from Swayam. Upon hearing Swayam's name, Sharon get emotional. She pleads to Rey and tells him to reconcile with Swayam. Seeing Sharon in such an emotional state because of Swayam, Rey asks her why she is reacting like this. Sharon dismisses his questions but makes Rey promise to make things better between him and Swayam. 

Meanwhile, Swayam and the rest of the dance team think about strategies to make their routine better. Swayam tells them that since all the other teams are performing some kind of street dance, they should do something different. I guess this is where the dancing with skates idea comes in. Vicki, Bharat and Swayam put on their skates for rehearsal. Sharon nudges Rey and tells him that now would be a good time to sort things out between him and Swayam. During a break, Rey meets Swayam in the boy's locker room. He apologizes for being rude to Swayam. Rey tells him that he thought that he would act like a brother and try to get him back with Taani. Swayam assures Rey that their friendship and Rey's relationship with Taani are completely separate. He also tells Rey that he would never force them to be together. With that ReYam are finally back in action! Yay!

Daily Update: D3, May 20th 2013

Sharon promises Swayam that she will side with Rey as long as Swayam becomes normal again. She then leaves. Swayam wonders how he can be normal when Sharon just promised him that she would go away if that helps her side with Rey. On the other hand, Sharon wonders how can she ever go away from Swayam. OMG! Why doesn't Sharon just tell Swayam how she feels already?! I can't wait to witness an epic SwaRon confession scene! That would be the bomb! On the other hand, Taani thinks back to all that happened. She pulls herself together and checks on the rules for the Quarters for NDC. Just then Rey comes in. He asks her if there are any changes in the rules and Taani tells him that the rules are the same. He later asks her if she wanted to discuss anything with him. Taani rudely tells Rey that he should focus on the Quarters and she'll take all other decision herself. Rey is happy to see that Taani is becoming focused again. After Rey leaves, Taani notices that she planned to discuss everything with Rey and crosses out his name. I hope Taani finally realizes that she was way too dependent on Rey and stands up for herself.

Meanwhile, the D3 team wait in the rehearsal hall for Swayam and Rey. They plan to bring the two together. When Swayam comes in and starts the rehearsals, Simmi asks him if they can wait till Rey joins them. Swayam agrees. Once Rey joins, Rinni tells Rey that Swayam didn't want to start rehearsals without him being present. Sharon wonders what the gang is up to but she just watches. Then Vicki, Neha and Simmi all start arguing about what is the first step. Swayam tries to show them the step but to no avail. Rey too tries to talk to the gang but they just keep arguing. Finally the boys ask Rey what he thinks. He tells them that Swayam is right. Sharon asks Simmi what the gang is up to and she tells her to just play along. The gang tell Swayam and Rey to perform the routine together as they know the steps. They do and everyone enjoys the performance.

Swayam and Rey hug each other. But later Rey pushes him away when he realizes that he should be giving Swayam attitude rather than bring nice to him. Swayam wonders what's wrong with Rey but lets it go. Sharon watches as the gang try to bring the two together. Just then she gets a message from Taani. Taani summons the gang for a meeting. She tells the gang that they are going into NDC blind. She tells the gang that she was able to find videos of previous performances of some of the groups that they will be pitted against so that they can understand their strengths and weaknesses. The team is very impressed by all of her work and dedication. Rey is happy to see that his plan is working.

Daily Update: D3, May 8th & 9th 2013

Mr. Shikhawat calls Swayam during his class. Swayam steps out to attend the call. He asks Swayam if he wants to join him for one of his business conferences. Swayam expresses his surprised to his father. Mr. Shikhawat insults Swayam's way of life. After hearing that, Swayam refuses and hangs up. He later goes back to class and tells the professor that he can't concentrate and leaves the class. Rey watches as Swayam explains why he can't stay in class and jumps on the bandwagon and leaves class too. Taani and Sharon look on and wonder why ReYam are leaving class midway. Sharon realizes that Swayam is probably stressed because of the phone call that he just took.

After class Sharon tries to look for Swayam. She goes to the abandoned stairwell but doesn't find Swayam there. She wonders where Swayam is and tries to call him but he doesn't take her calls. She later gets a frantic call from Rey. She realizes that he needs her help and goes to meet him. Rey tells Sharon that he loves Taani and can't just break up with her. He tells Sharon that he realized that Taani is too important to him and wants to show her that right path. Sharon is glad to hear that Rey realized what Taani meant to him. She agrees to support Rey. But when Rey asks her to keep it from Swayam, she becomes doubtful. Rey makes Sharon realize that if Swayam found out that he would more stressed. Sharon reluctantly agrees.

The D3 gang find out that St. Louis has made it to next round of NDC. They wonder if Swayam, Sharon and Rey have already found out. They decide to tell them the good news. Meanwhile, Swayam thinks about his relationship with his dad in the rehearsal hall. He thinks about all the times his father insulted him either when they were alone or in front of his friends. He all thinks about Rey and how Rey went to lunch with his father after he told him that he didn't want to. Swayam certainly reached his breaking point.  

Rey gets a call from Mr. Shikhawat asking if he can join him for his business conference. When Rey hesitates Mr. Shikhawat asks him if he has other plans. Rey wonders why he didn't ask Swayam. Mr. Shikhawat tells Rey that when he asked Swayam, he refused. Rey reassures Mr. Shikhawat that he will talk to Swayam and ensure that he joins him for the business conference. Rey leaves to find Swayam and talks to him. He finds Swayam in the rehearsal hall dancing. He joins Swayam. It was so awesome seeing a ReYam dance! Shantanu and Amar are such powerhouse dancers and it was nice to see them just let go. But I've go to say Shantanu totally did his thing!

At the end of the routine, Rey tries to talk to Swayam about Mr. Shikhawat. Swayam listens as Rey tries to make him understand that his father actually cares about him. After Rey is done, Swayam explodes! Swayam lets out all of his frustrations about Rey and his father meeting. He tells Rey that he has never meant anything to his dad but Rey on the other hand has impressed him to such a degree that he wants Swayam to be like him. The D3 gang watch in shock as Swayam lets out his frustrations. Sharon watches as Swayam finally tells Rey how he feels. She tries to step in. Swayam realizes what he just did and apologizes to Rey and storms out of the rehearsal hall. Sharon run after him leaving Rey in the rehearsal hall with the others. Rey is hurt by the Swayam feels and leaves too.

While walking in the hallways, Rey thinks back to all the meetings he has had with Mr Shikhawat. He realizes why Swayam feels the way that he does. Taani bumps into Rey and asks him if they go out for dinner. Rey tries to say no but Taani gets a message. He asks her what the message was about. Taani tells him that the VP asked her to help arrange a dance fest but she refused. Rey is shocked when he hears Taani reaction. Taani tells him that she doesn't want to stress anymore especially since she already has NDC on her plate. She also tells him that she can't arrange anything without Rey's assistance. Rey realizes that Taani isn't taking her GS duties seriously.

Daily Update: D3, March 26th 2013

As the dates for NDC auditions are coming closer, Taani gets more stressed. It's her first major event and she is nervous. She wants to make sure that she does well and the St. Louis dance team does well. All the D3 gang notice that the stress is getting to Taani. Swayam justifies her behavior saying that it's her first big event so she must be feeling very nervous. The team wonders if her behavior will cause problems with Sharon later on if any NDC event clashes with D3 events. Just then Sharon informs the team that they have been approached for another event. She tells them that they will be paid well. The team gets excited. They resolve to juggle NDC rehearsals and D3 rehearsals. SwaRon share a really cute chemistry these days. It's so nice to see them talking to each other rather that fighting. They are actually getting to know each other better now than when they were 'together'. 

Taani meets with Rey and tells him about the rounds in NDC. She explains the procedures to him and tells him to pass on the information to the rest of the team. Even Rey notices that Taani is more stressed these days. He tells her that her nervousness is normal considering she has so much on her plate. After he leaves, Taani goes to the library to check out the buzz that NDC has created among the St. Louis students. What she finds is heartbreaking! Taani finds out that although the students are excited about St. Louis participating in NDC, they feel that Rey would be better suited as the GS to get them the victory. They feel that since Taani is a non-dancer, she won't be able to aptly guide the team. Taani is very hurt by what she finds. She gathers her thoughts and goes to meet the team.

Rey explains the procedures of NDC to the team in the projector room. The gang is happy to hear that the procedures are similar to Footloose procedures. They are confident that they will do their best. Just then Taani appears and tell them that the next step will be e-auditions. She tells them that they have one to submit their e-auditions. The team is shocked to hear that they have no time. Sharon tells Taani that they have an event the next day. Taani asks Swayam to make sure that everything is taken care of. When Vicki asks her for advice, Taani tells him that she is not a dancer, she is not in a position to give them any advice. The team is stunned by her answer. Taani later goes on to say that as a CS, it is Sharon's responsibility to make sure that the NDC events take place smoothly. Looks like there's a Taani vs. Sharon battle on the horizon. I just hope ReyAm's friendship doesn't suffer in the process...

Daily Update: D3, 20th & 21st March, 2013

This is the 500th episode folks! Yay for Dil Dostii Dance going strong for 500 episodes! This is amazing! It must be a huge encouragement for all the folks associated with Dil Dostii Dance to be able to experience such amazing success!

Swayam goes to college thinking about all that happened the previous night. He thinks back to his reaction on seeing Rey in Taani's room. Sharon notices that he seems upset. She asks him about it and he tells her that he caught Rey and Taani together in her room. Sharon asks him why he is upset with Rey when he did the same with Sharon? Swayam thinks back to when he snuck into Sharon's room through the window when she was sick. He understands Rey's sentiments and thanks Sharon for helping through his dilemma.

In the morning, Taani calls the D3 gang and tells them that she has some important news for them. She tells them that St. Louis College is going to be participating in the National Dance Championship. The team is excited to hear about it. But when someone raises a question about what the group would do if a professional opportunity came along, Taani tells Sharon that they will have to manage it whereas Sharon disagrees. Sharon tells Taani that they will uphold their professional commitments. For the first time Sharon and Taani go head to head! Both girls stand their ground.

Taani later tells them that the VP has called Rey, Sharon and Swayam in his cabin. The VP tells them that St. Louis will be competing in the National Dance Championship not as Dazzlers and Weaklings but as one united team. He congratulates them and wishes them success for the competition. The D3 team meets in the cafeteria to appoint a captain for the team. Rey unanimously gets the group's vote to become the captain even though Taani suggests Swayam and Sharon. Rey notices Taani's displeasure at him becoming captain.

Taani doesn't want Rey to become captain because the captaincy would eat away at the time that they get to spend with each other. Rey tries to talk to Taani but to no avail. He wonders what bothered her so much. Oh Rey! Sometimes you are so clueless...

Taani finally explains to Rey why his captaincy is upsetting her. She explains to him that since he is the AGS and the spokesperson of D3, he's been very busy. If he becomes the captain of the dance team, he will not have time to spend with her. That's why she doesn't want him to become the captain. She tells Rey that as the GS of St. Louis she want the best possible candidate as the captain of the dance team but as a girlfriend she doesn't want her boyfriend to be too busy. Rey thinks back to all the times that he cancelled his dates with Taani because something related to the dance team came up. He realizes that he needs to make a sacrifice for his relationship.

Sharon and Swayam watch dance videos in the projector room. While there, they discuss about how the National Dance Championship will be structured. They also talks about how difficult it will be for them if they have to juggle their professional commitments while preparing for the National Dance Championship aka NDC. Swayam gets a call from Rey asking him to meet him in the rehearsal hall. Rey tells him to Sharon to come as well. Sharon and Swayam go to the rehearsal hall and see all the other members there as well. They all wonder why Rey called them for a meeting for urgently.

Rey comes in and tells the group that although he is happy they chose him as the captain, he will not be able to accept the position. He tells them that in place of him Swayam would be the best option. Swayam wonders why Rey stepped down while the rest of the team accept him as the new captain. Happy to see that he doesn't have the captaincy anymore, Rey rushed to tell Taani the good news only to be shot down by Taani again. Taani tells him that he shouldn't change his preferences just because Taani doesn't like them. She tells him that he should always listen to his heart. She doesn't want him to change just for her. Poor Taani! Rey is just so clueless at times! The guy just doesn't get it!

The rest of the D3 team talk about Sharon and Swayam. The Dazzlers mention that Sharon will always give their professional commitments preference over NDC related events. The Weaklings mention that Swayam, on the other hand, will give NDC related events preference over their professional commitments. The team wonders what will happen when they have to choose between their professional commitments and the student related commitments. Wonder what will happen when that day comes?! All hell breaks loose when Sharon and Swayam fight!

Rey goes to the locker room and wonders how he will make it up to Taani. When Swayam sees how down he looks, he asks him about why he dropped the captaincy. Rey tells him that he doesn't want to talk about it. The rest of the guys see Swayam and Rey in the locker room and ask them what's bothering them. They ask Rey if he has a problem with Taani. Swayam feels uncomfortable and leaves.  Rey looks on as the guys do stupid things...

Daily Update: D3, February 21st, 2013

Swayam decides to spend the night at Sharon's since there is no one at her house to take care of her. Swayam sleeps in a chair by Sharon's bed so that he is close by if she needs anything. During the night, Sharon wakes up and admires Swayam as he sleeps. All this while we only Swayam admiring Sharon, now it's her turn! Sharon is sad because she has to stay away from Swayam. She apologizes for hurting his feelings. She gets very emotional when she tells him that even though she wants to 'love' him, she can't. By the way Shaton reacted, it is so obvious that she does indeed love Swayam. I get that she doesn't want to be a burden, but she has to understand that Swayam will never consider her a burden. I hope Swayam finds out about Sharon's asthma soon. This heartbreak is just too much! I want to see SwaRon as a happy couple! Enough with this emotion drama!

Moving on to TaaRey-land where everything is peachy. Taani sends Rey packing after the have their coffee moment. Aww! I've got to saw, they're scenes are totally aww-tastic! I just cant' stop myself from aww-ing whenever I see those two on stage. And I've go to say, I thought that Amar had really good chemistry with Shakti but now he's got amazing chemistry with Vrinda too. Way to go Amar and Vrinda for bringing the magic back on Dil Dostii Dance! While Rey is leaving, he tells Taani not to wait for Swayam. When Taani protests, Rey makes up a story to pacify her. Taani also asks him if he is prepared to face the AVP after the stunt they pulled by going to Nokia Indiafest. He tells her that as long they are together everything will be fine.

The next morning, Swayam wakes up early. He checks on Sharon and finds her sleeping. He prepares breakfast for her and leaves. Some time later, Sharon wakes up and sees that Swayam has left. She reads the note he left for her and gets emotional. She sees the breakfast he prepared for her and is touched. Taani on the other hand is frantic. She calls Rey worried because Swayam stayed out all night. Rey tells her not worry and that Swayam will be back. Just then the doorbell rings and it's Swayam. Taani yells at him for being out all night and not telling her where he was. Swayam smiles and tells her that he's happy to bear the brunt of her concern. Taani gets emotional and tells him that she was very worried about him. Swayam clams her down and both of them leave for college. All this while, Taani and Swayam never really had a lot of bonding scenes. Today's episode was different. Taani and Swayam finally seemed like brother-sister rather than two strangers living together. I hope to see more such bonding scenes. Shantanu is such an amazing actor. He performs so well. It's almost as if you can feel everything he feels. He is so easy to relate to. He has truly blossomed as a performer. 

The entire D3 gang assembles in college and wonder what horror await them courtesy Khushboo Ma'am aka AVP. Sharon loses her voice and Swayam gets concerned. They wonder if they will be suspended for leaving college. Rey, Taani, Sharon and Swayam are prepared to let go of their positions if they are told to. Can't wait to see what happens next week.

Daily Update: D3, February 20th, 2013

Before I say anything about today's episode, we have to get into Flashback Mode and look back at what happened exactly a year ago...

Rey and Kriya saw each other for the last time. The two people that everyone knew were meant to be together were being pulled apart by circumstances. The Dazzlers had just lost at the Footloose eliminations while the Weaklings impressed the crowd with their unique performance. Kriya was upset that she couldn't support Rey when he needed her the most. She was more upset by the fact that she was forced to move away and break his heart. Kriya's helplessness and Rey's heartbreak really touched me. Rey knew that Kriya had a problem but Kriya couldn't tell him why she was forced to break his heart. Rey and Kriya had a bitter breakup to say the least. Kriya lied to him and told him that she used his position to get what she wanted. Side note - I really hope that Rey finds out the truth about Kriya. She wasn't a bad person. She was just a victim of circumstance.

On the other hand, Sharon blamed herself for the Dazzlers defeat. She felt as if she was solely responsible for their loss. She was upset and wanted to talk to her best friend, Rey. But in stead Swayam comes to meet her. She is angry at first but later lets out her feelings. He patiently listens to her and makes her understand that she is not at fault. He makes her realize that Shivam is the one responsible for the Dazzlers' defeat. He tells her to always follow her heart and do whatever she thinks is right. No matter how rude or indifferent Sharon was towards him, Swayam always found a way to make a difference. He always stood by her in every situation and made sure that things were right. He never left her to figure things out on her own, in stead he guided her and always supported her.

Now let's take a look at the snippet of today's episode.

  

Rey has found love again with Taani. He has finally gotten over his heartbreak over Kriya and moved on to the point where he can be in healthy relationship with Taani. Taani is certainly no Kriya. Taani is shy and sensitive whereas Kriya was a firebrand. She knew what she wanted and wasn't afraid to fight for it. Taani at first, was easily influenced by what happened around her but now she's slowly becoming more assertive. Taani and Rey's love story was no bed of roses either. They had their share of misunderstandings and fall-outs with they worked together to get out of them and reach a safe place. At first, I didn't really like Taani with Rey but as time passed and Taani's character developed from a ditsy girl with a crush on Rey to a mature character who started to understand Rey truly, I started liking them together. When Rey thanked Taani for being so understanding, I instantly thought back to when Rey was with Kriya. Their breakup defined Rey for a long time. He wanted so bad to believe in love but never wanted to get hurt again. Considering what happened to him the past, I can truly appreciate how much his character has developed and matured over the course of the year.

With Sharon and Swayam, I feel like they are going around in circles. Just when they're getting close, they are pushed back to square one. Sharon is ill and Swayam sneaks into her room to take care of her. He tells her that until she is well, he will not leave. Sharon yells at him but he doesn't budge. They finally have a heart-to-heart about their 'trial relationship.' Sharon asks him why he is still doing all of this even though their relationship is not moving ahead from her side. What Swayam tells her truly touched my heart - he tells her that even though her 'like' didn't change into a 'love', his feelings for her will never change. Her 'like' is all that he needs o move forward. Swayam is so devoted to Sharon it made me wonder if it was unhealthy. Then I realized that Swayam's devotion is the only way he can show his love. Swayam is so in tune with Sharon that even before she says anything, he already knows what she wants. Sharon too understands Swayam but tries really hard to suppress it. I hope that Sharon realizes that she can't force Swayam to forget her and gives in to her heart. 

Let's step aside from all the romance and lovey-dovey moments, and focus on St. Louis reality. The gang broke the rules when they left for Goa. Now that they are back, they have to face the music. From all the previews, it looks like there will a rally of some sort in protest of the actions that the AVP takes. I can't wait to see what happens next...

Daily Update: D3, February 14th, 2013

Happy Valentine's Day! So in celebration of Valentine's Day, I have a special gift for all you Dil Dostii Dance fans out there...

I love watching Behind-The-Scenes videos. They really make you appreciate all the hard work and effort that goes into making what we see on TV. Listen to the talented D3 gang talk about all the fun they had while performing for Indiafest. Even though I've posted sneak peaks of the performances, I can't wait to see the actual episodes. It's definitely going to be spectacularly awesome!

Vicki tells the gang that they are famous. Their dance video became really popular! Why wouldn't it become popular?! They were awesome! Everyone gets excited seeing their popularity! The gang gets into Indiafest hoping that the girls get a chance to perform as well. Looks like the stars aligned because we finally got to see the D3 girls do their thing! Yay! It was awesome! One group cancelled which let the girls perform. Alisha and Sneha choreographed the routine really well. Loved the mix of Bollywood with belly dancing. All of the girls danced really well. They were nothing but entertainment, entertainment and entertainment!

After the performance, everyone was excited. Nilesh thanked everyone for supporting them at Indiafest. The oldies reassured him saying that even though their mind told them to follow other paths, their heart was always with dance. Finally, it dawns on the gang that their stay at Indiafest has come to an end. They wonder what awaits them at St. Louis when they return. Taani tells them that Rey and her will be suspended from their posts. Sharon agrees and tell everyone that the same will happen to Swayam and her. But before they leave, they all wished that they got a chance to perform as a group. Just then one of the organizers approaches them and asks them if they can perform as a group. The gang is elated! They appoint Sharon as their group manager and she seals the deal!

The gang gets ready for the group performance. They are all in costume and go over some last minute things. Just then, Sharon walks into the room - in costume! Everyone is shocked. She tells them that she wouldn't let them perform their first professional routine without being a part of it herself. Everyone is excited to see Sharon ready to dance. Swayam is elated to see Sharon finally following her passion. After everyone leaves for the stage, Sharon takes a breadth from her inhaler and hopes that all goes well. Will Sharon be able to perform the entire routine? Will she have an attack at the end? All we have to do is wait and watch!
