The St. Louis dance team reach the venue for the NDC quarters. They all assemble in the green room and try out different things to get rid of their pre performance jitters. Rey enjoys watching his teammates try to release their stress doing stupid things. When Nilesh and Vicki confront him, he tells them that after a long time he has gotten the chance to experience pre performance jitters. He also tells them that he really misses the feeling. Vicki questions him about the last time. Just then Taani walks in and Rey and Taani think back to what happened during the previous NDC performance. Sharon and Swayam notice the sadness in Rey's expression. Swayam rallies the team together and they prepare for the performance.
While the team gets ready, Swayam notices Sharon and just can't seem to take his eyes off of her. Sharon notices Swayam's gaze and walks upto Rey and Swayam. She asks Rey how she looks. Rey notices Swayam's expression and asks Swayam the same question. When Swayam walks away, Rey teases Sharon. I really hope now that Rey is not busy with Taani all the time, he brings Swayam and Sharon together. Yes I know he promised Sharon that he wouldn't try but even he knows that they are meant to be together! Finally the team is summoned to the main stage. All the teammates congratulate one another. Taani wishes Rey best of luck while Sharon and Swayam wish each other.
Mr. Shikhawat calls Taani since he got back from his business conference. He tells Taani that he would like to have dinner with her and Swayam. He later tells her to invite Rey as well. Taani makes up an excuse for Rey saying that he is too busy but Mr. Shikhawat insists that she invite him. Finally the team get to the stage and notice that they have the same judges from the eliminations. Nilesh gets worried when he sees him. The team hopes that he will not penalize them for what happened during the Dance Camp. Swayam encourages the team and tells them to focus on their routine and give their best. The D3 team perform an emotional routine.
After the performance, Taani wonders if Tauji should find out the truth about Rey. She comes to the conclusion that telling Tauji about Rey's truth after NDC is the right choice. She hopes that once St. Louis wins NDC, Tauji will be impressed with Rey and try to understand Swayam's choices. Once again Taani decides to hide the truth and go with lies. Oh Taani when will you learn that honesty is the best policy?
Where's Aashi? She's been missing for almost a week now. Hope she comes back soon...
In other news, according to this article, a whole lot of things are going to take place in D3. The performances and the NDC drama will continue of course but along with all that things will change for SwaRon and TaaRey. Where Sharon and Swayam get closer to each other, Taani and Rey will drift further apart. Hopefully, there is an epic SwaRon confession in the future...
The St. Louis dance team arrives at the venue. They are all sad because Rey is not a part of the team. When they go inside, they notice that there aren't any other teams present. The crew tells them that only one team is present at a time so that there is no crowd. Finally the team make their way to their green room. There they find Taani. Aashi asks Taani why she didn't come with them. Taani apologizes for what she did. She tells them that she's failing at all she's doing. Rinni gets upset and starts crying. She wonders how they are going to perform without one of their strong dancer.
Swayam looks on as his sister runs out of the room in tears. He notices that the morale of the entire team is low. He goes to confront his father. He asks Mr. Shikhawat for a favor. He tells his father to leave. Mr. Shikhawat is stunned by his son's demand. Swayam explains that he doesn't understand why his father is judging a dance competition when he's never supported his dance. Mr. Shikhawat explains that he's at the competition to support Taani and not Swayam. Swayam is shocked to hear that his father has no regard for him. He tells his father that if he judges the contest then their performance will not be good and Taani will fail at her first event. Mr. Shikhawat agrees to leave on the condition that Swayam guarantees Taani's victory. Swayam assures his father that he will do his best.
Meanwhile, Sharon looks on as the dance team mopes about Rey absence. She encourages the team to come together. She demands that they do their best even if they are missing a team member. She brings the team together and cheer them up. Swayam calls Rey to tell him that his father has left but Rey does not answer his phone. He goes to the green room and finds a cheerful team. The D3 gang come together and vow to give an awesome performance.
Swayam is glad to see that the D3 gang are finally in good spirits. Sharon asks him how his meeting with his dad went. Swayam tells her that his dad no longer at the venue. Sharon gets excited since Rey can now be a part of the performance. Swayam asks Sharon to call Rey as he wasn't having any luck earlier. She tries but does not get through. Finally they hear an announcement calling their team to the stage. The team gets ready and heads out of their green room. On their way to the stage, they see the team from BS college in the hallway. Nilesh tells the team that they are an amazing dance team. The rest of the team seem worried but Taani tries to encourage them.
Finally they reach the stage. Vicki notices that they have no audience. Nilesh suggests that this is probably what happens in 'serious' dance competitions. They wait to see their judges come into the room. They are shocked when they see the male judge. He is the same person who judged the Freestyle competition in the Dance Camp. He purposely gave Nilesh a low score because of Nilesh's prank earlier. The team gets nervous when they see him as their judge. They get worried and wonder if he will purposely give them a low score again. Swayam encourages the team and tells them that they should only focus on their performance and nothing else. Finally it's their turn to perform. Sharon asks the team who will improvise Rey's portions. Swayam assures the team that it will not be necessary.
The team starts their routine and in the middle of it Rey joins them! The team is excited to Rey dancing with them and so is Taani. The St. Louis team delivers an awesome performance. After the performance, they head out to the green room. There they celebrate Rey's arrival and proclaim his a hero but Rey as other thoughts. He feels as if his behavior was cowardly. He ditched his dance team just because of his fear of losing Taani. Finally Rey has woken up! Hope he is able to make Taani realize how selfish she was and puts his foot down to all her drama. Anyway looks like in the next episode Rey is going to lay it down with Taani...
The gang convince Rey to talk to Taani about postponing the due date of the deposit. Rey reluctantly agrees but is conflicted about whether she should talk to Taani about his professional matter in a personal setting. With all of this confusion playing in his mind, Rey makes his way to the fire exit where a patient Taani is waiting for him. Rey thinks about all the possible things that could go wrong and decides not to tell Taani to postpone the due date. He in stead tells her that he loves her and that she is perfect or him, much to the disappointment of the rest of the gang. After their meeting, Rey and Taani go to the cafeteria. Swayam and Sharon also make their way to the cafeteria. The gang eagerly ask Taani and Rey about her decision. A confused Taani looks to Rey but Rey tells everyone that he already told Taani about the team rejecting the first offer. The gang understand that Taani doesn't know about postponing the due date. Just then Swayam steps in and reminds Taani about her duties. Taani leaves and tells them that she'll see them later.
The gang wonder about how they'll get the money to cover for the deposit. Rey suggests that each member contribute from their personal pocket money. Aashi reminds the Dazzlers and the Weaklings will not be able to contribute the same amount. Swayam tells the Weaklings that he can pay on their behalf and they can all pay him whenever they can. Bharat and Aashi disagree with him and tell him that they have to think of another way to come up with the money. Just then Swayam's phone rings. Swayam recognizes the number of Mr. Arora, the individual who wanted to hire the D3 team to dance at a birthday party. He wonders why he is calling him and not Sharon. Rey tells him that he added Swayam's name to their website. Swayam leaves the room to attend the call. Rinni wonders out loud why Mr. Arora isn't calling Sharon considering she is the manager of the team.
An enraged Swayam comes back and immediately starts questioning Sharon about her decision to refuse the solo performance offer by Mr. Arora. Sharon tells him that it is non of his business. When the rest of the gang looks confused, Swayam tells them that Mr. Arora offered Sharon to dance solo for the same amount of money but Sharon refused. The team is shocked. Rey tells Sharon that she was wrong about hiding the offer from the rest of the team, especially when they are in need of the money. Aashi agrees with Swayam and Sharon calls her out. Now that was especially catty! Sharon tells him that she specifically told everyone that she wouldn't be dancing. She tells them it is her decision and she alone can decide if she can dance or not. She then storms off. Swayam runs after her. He pulls her in an abandoned class and questions her about her decision. When Sharon is adamant about her decision, Swayam calls her selfish and arrogant. He tells her that she will always be alone because of her attitude and leaves. A shattered Sharon finally decides to show Swayam why she can't dance anymore.
Wow! That was my first reaction when I watched Monday's episode. So many things happened! The SwaRon fight at the end was intense! Shatanu totally nailed it! It was nice seeing Swayam being more assertive and aggressive. Finally Swayam let out his mind and let Sharon know exactly how he feels. Also I expected Sharon to break down but I wanted her to accept that she is in love with Swayam. In stead Sharon just broke down because Swayam accused her of being selfish and arrogant. I'm glad that Swayam will finally find out the truth about Sharon's asthma. According to this article, we are going to get to see a lot of interesting things in future regarding TaaRey and SwaRon's romance.
So without further adieu, here's the snippet of Monday's episode...
Swayam thinks about all that happened between him and Sharon. He is upset that Sharon took such a selfish decision. Just then he gets a text message from Sharon asking him to meet her at St. Louis. Swayam wonders why she wants to meet him so late but he goes nevertheless. When he gets there, he sees Sharon dressed in costume. She dances for him and sure enough she gets an asthmatic attack. Swayam looks on in shock as Sharon proceeds to take out her inhaler and take a few breaths. Swayam finally understands why Sharon is so adamant about not dancing. He feels guilty about yelling at her earlier and calling her selfish. He apologizes to her for yelling at her. Sharon tells him that she didn't want to make him feel guilty. She merely was answering his questions.
Swayam asks Sharon about when she found out about her asthma. She tells him that it was after the dance camp. Swayam feels bad when he realizes that Sharon kept such a big thing from him. Sharon explains that she didn't want anyone's sympathy. She didn't want to be treated differently by people just because she has asthma. She especially didn't want Swayam to treat her differently. She finally tells Swayam that her disease has taken up such a big portion of her life that she doesn't have place for anyone else. She tells Swayam that dealing with her disease and her stress has left her no other option but to distance herself from Swayam. Swayam understand and tells Sharon that she will finally have the break-up that she wanted. With that Swayam walks out and leaves Sharon sobbing. Sharon thinks back to all the special moments she spent with Swayam.
Today's episode was intense and exactly what I wanted to see. SwaRon have finally reached an emotional point in their relationship. Swayam finally found about Sharon's affliction and Sharon admitted her fears to him. It was nice seeing Swayam as the strong one. He encouraged Sharon to follow her passion even though she has asthma. Now I wonder how SwaRon's relationship will progress now that the truth is out. I wonder what effect SwaRon's problems will have on TaaRey. I'm eagerly awaiting tomorrow's episode.
