After watching Kriya's performance, Rey becomes very emotional. He goes to the fire escape where he used to meet with Kriya and thinks about the past. He becomes sad when he thinks about how she hurt him and used him. He thinks about the letter that she wrote and comes to the conclusion that he has never meant anything to her. He thinks that Kriya is back in St Louis only to further her name and the name of her dance institute. Meanwhile, Kriya makes her way to talk to Rey. She hopes that she can sort things out with him. She finds him in the fire escape but Rey ignores her and rudely asks her to leave him alone. Kriya is disheartened to see his reaction.
Sharon confronts Swayam and asks him if he has always been in contact with Kriya. Swayam does not deny and tells Sharon that he shares a very close bond with Kriya. Sharon is hurt to hear that Swayam hid all this from her even when they were together. She starts disliking Kriya even more. The D3 gang hang out in the cafeteria and talk about what just happened. They are all equally shocked to see Kriya back. They are surprised that she went to New York and came back as an accomplished dancer. They tells Bharat and Amar that the new exchange student is none other than Kriya. Bharat and Amar are shocked to hear that she is back. They tells the others that they are still upset with her and have no intention of working with her. The others also agree and promise that they will not work with her. Nilesh and Vicki declare that they will boycott Kriya and her dance workshops. The rest of the D3 joins them.
The Board of Directors meet with the VP and call Rey, Sharon and Swayam to meet with them. The Board tell them that collaborating with Kriya's dance institute will bring St Louis a lot of name and recognition. They also tell them that they wish to judge the D3 team based on a performance with Kriya. Sharon and Rey both oppose the idea but the board insist that Kriya has to be involved. They also tell them that they should work on performances for the college annual day together. Rey and Sharon both get upset with the fact that Kriya has to be involved. Swayam tries to persuade them to work with Kriya.
Swayam tries to reason with Sharon and Rey that Kriya's involvement will be beneficial to them. Sharon gets irritated that Swayam is siding with Kriya and angrily lets out that Kriya and him have been in contact ever since she left. Rey is shocked to hear that Swayam has been in touch with Kriya all this time. He asks Swayam and when he confirms that it is true, he leaves feeling hurt. Sharon is shocked to see Rey's reaction and immediately realizes that Rey did not know that Swayam and Kriya were in touch. She tries apologizing to Swayam but Swayam asks to get past her petty problems and see the bigger picture.
