Daily Update: D3, February 26th, 2013

This is what we have to look forward to for the rest of the week...

The boys wait for the girls at St. Louis. Meanwhile, ReYam have their pep-talk in the boys locker room. When they head out, they see all the girls. Rey's eye immediately travel to Taani who looks absolutely gorgeous in her red saree. The boys complement the girls and the girls do the same. Swayam wonders where Sharon is and Simmi tells him that Sharon will be late. When she finally arrives, Swayam admires her. In fact, both of them admire each other. It was a really cute SwaRon moment! Finally the gang decides to leave and Rey tells all of them to pair up. Everyone pairs up leaving Swayam and Sharon. Sharon storms off rather than pairing up with Swayam. Poor Swayam! He never gets his chance!

The gang reaches the VP's house. The VP greets them at the door and complements them for adhering to the dress code. He leads them in. Before he can introduce them, he gets called elsewhere. Sharon and Rey tell the gang to be confident and walk into the party with the heads held high. Sharon tells the gang that by holding drinks, they will create a favorable impression with the board members. The boys head to the bar to get their drinks. ReYam share another comic moment at the bar while the other boys have their comic moments throughout the party. Finally the VP comes back to the group. He introduces them to the board members who are responsible for bringing back dance into St. Louis.

Rey, Swayam, Aashi and Nilesh become nervous when the VP tells the board members that the D3 gang were responsible for the Flashmob. The board members tell the gang that they have nothing to be scared about. In fact the board members tell them that they are an inspiration to all of them. They thank the gang for making St. Louis popular because of their dance. The VP also tells them that St. Louis will have a dance curriculum. All amazing news for the D3 gang who worked so hard to pursue dance. Wonder what the future has in store for the gang.

Here's a snippet of today's episode...

Daily Update: D3, February 27th, 2013

Hello folks! Let me start out by saying that today's episode was rocking! It was awesome to see the entire D3 gang just freak out! It was amazing! The entire cast totally rocked it and burnt up our TV screens! I've said this before and I'll say it again - the choreographers of D3 outdo themselves every single time!

Now that Dance is officially become a part of their lives again, the D3 gang celebrates by doing what they do best - dance! They have an amazing time dancing and performing together. It was really enjoyable to watch! It must have awesome to actually shoot the sequence. There was so much going on - the boys were hanging on the ceiling bars, the boys and girls were dancing with aerial silks and of course a lot of floor work! It was just awesome! Also the song from ABCD totally matched the mood of the episode!

Everyone dances together and enjoyed themselves. Rey pulls Sharon in and she too does her bit. But she doesn't get to dance for long as she starts getting an asthmatic attack. She leaves the rehearsal hall and goes into the girl's locker room to get her trusty inhaler. Meanwhile, the time for dancing is done and the girls head to class. The boys get ready to leave when Nilesh tells Swayam that he's been getting a lot of pimples lately. How random! The funniest part is when Swayam actually starts becoming self-conscious about his pimple.

Let's go into flashback mode, now. Who remembers the time when Swayam teased Sharon when she was conscious about her pimple? Let me elaborate. Sharon was excited to meet her secret admirer and was shocked to see that she had a pimple on her face. The entire time, all the girls were trying to help her get rid of her pimple. Swayam thought it was funny because she was so stressed about such a vain thing. And now Swayam himself is getting so conscious about his pimple problem. Rey comes up with an explanation to calm Swayam down and tells him that pimples are a sign of maturity. I don't think anyone thinks that pimples are anything other than an annoyance!

While everyone else is busy with class, Swayam researches the possible causes behind Sharon losing her voice. He calls her and asks her to meet him in the projector room. When she doesn't oblige, he goes to the cafeteria and meets her there. He tells her about everything he find out and even tells her a herbal remedy to give her temporary relief. He finally tells her that she should go to the doctor and have herself checked. All the other girls also agree with Swayam and tell Sharon that she shouldn't take this lightly. I've got to say there was a major Aashi-Swayam-Sharon moment here. Aashi gets all sad and dejected when she sees that Swayam cares for Sharon so much. Also Sharon gives Swayam a lovey-dovey smile when she sees how much Swayam cares for her. Why she doesn't tell Swayam about her problem I don't know.

Taani and Rey meet with the VP and tell the gang when they meet in the cafeteria that they have been invited to an event with the board members of St. Louis. They also inform them that the dress code is formal and that the VP specifically told them to adhere to the dress code. All the girls are confused as to what they can wear. Sharon suggests that they wear sarees. Swayam and the rest of the girls are shocked to hear Sharon's suggestion. She tells them that it's no big deal. So Rey and Taani tell everyone that they will all meet at college and leave together. The boys get ready and head out when Rey arrives. They tell him that Swayam is still not ready. Rey goes to check on Swayam and they have what can only be described as a ReYam moment! Those two are so cute when they have their ReYam moments!

Daily Update: D3, February 25th, 2013

Before going into today's episode, Channel V finally put up the full episodes of all the V for Valentine specials that they had. Now it wouldn't be fair if I didn't post the D3 videos, now would it?!

Check out the D3 gang doing what they do best - Dance their hearts out!

Check out ReYam vent their frustrations about Kriya and Sharon, respectively! I believe this was their first dance together and it totally cemented their friendship. Next up are the boys dancing in the rain during the D3 Monsoon Special. Once again all the boys totally rocked it! Then the entire D3 gang danced together to cheer up Bharat when the AVP insulted him in front of the entire class for not being able to speak proper English. We then get to the D3 gang rock it once again for Vishakha. They created a special dance video for Vishakha's dance school, remember that? The episode ends with the awesome Flashmob by ReYam, Aashi and Nilesh. I really like seeing all of their performances together. It really makes you appreciate how hard they work. Each and every time they try to create something completely new. It must be really tough to be a choreographer for D3!

This time we start out with the boys preparing Vicki for his relationship with the very filmi Neha. I loved how they mixed the songs for this performance. They boys are absolutely hilarious! Next is the group performance during the D3 Monsoon Special. Loved the song and once again they are all hilarious! We also get to re-watch TaaRey's first romantic dance together. Talk about sizzling chemistry. Amar and Vrinda have certainly come a long way! That sizzling performance is followed by the dancers from the Moulin Rouge doing their thing to Chikni Chameli at St. Louis. Crazy Kiya Rey is next! We finally got to see Taani actually dance and it was fun! Hope we see more of her dancing. The episode ends with a beautiful SwaRon performance. Vrushika's first ever performance as Sharon on D3   was just brilliant.

Suvreen Guggal takes us for a ride back in time. We get to re-watch some of the romantic moments in TaaRey and SwaRon love story. I've got to say, the rehearsal hall in St. Louis is the one place where all the romance happens. At first it was the fire escape, but now it's the rehearsal hall! It was really nice walking back in memory lane.

Now back to the present. Let's go over today's episode...

The D3 gang was heading back to St. Louis and getting ready to face the music. They were all prepared to step down from their titles and be punished severely for breaking all of the rules. But in stead they got a pleasant surprise. The Principal and the AVP informed them that their Indiafest performance has become very popular and as a result the name of St. Louis has also become very popular among the youth. Sharon wonders how the authorities found out about their performance. The Principal tells them that their performance videos are all over the internet and that the student body has made it very popular. The AVP also tells them that she has finally accepted defeat. She tells them that she is very sorry for trying to snatch away their passion from them. She also tells them that her work at St. Louis is done and that she is moving on to another college.

The gang is surprised to learn about Khushboo's transfer. They tell her that without her constant hurdles and challenges, they wouldn't have realized that dance was their passion. They thank her for making them truly think about what they want their future to be. Khushboo is overwhelmed by their positive response and tells them that she is very proud of them and their achievements. As she leaves St. Louis, she thinks are her time at St. Louis. How she came in and challenged the students at every turn. She thinks about her decisions and her agenda. She realizes that students need to follow their passion no matter what it is. She decides that from now on, no matter what, she will encourage her students to follow their passion wholeheartedly.

The D3 gang think about all that just happened. Although they are sad about Khushboo's departure, they are happy that they can finally have dance back in their lives. They are excited to be able to follow their passion and make it the center of their lives. They decide to celebrate doing what they love most - dance!

Weekly Update: Suvreen Guggal - Topper of the year (2/19 - 2/21)

Last week ended with Yuvraj finally telling Suvreen how he felt about her. It was such an epic moment! I couldn't wait to see what Suvreen does. Does she give Yuvraj another chance or does she lock up her heart?

Suvreen leaves the party and goes to Naro's room to collect her things. Annie and Naro see her there and try to talk to her. They tell her that they knew that Yuvraj wanted to propose but they didn't know when. They tell her that he planned to propose to her on Vivaan's birthday. Suvreen is surprised to hear this but she tells them that she had to leave. RC storms out of the party and thinks back to all the times he saw Suvreen with Yuvraj. He wonders how he could have missed noticing that Suvreen and Yuvraj were in love with each other. He feels guilty for what he was planning to do. On the other hand, Alisha feels deserted by Yuvraj. She thought Yuvraj and her had a connection. She vows to keep Yuvraj and Suvreen apart. She goes to her house and breaks down. Yuvraj calls her to apologize and messing up her birthday. He asks her why she left the party all of a sudden. Really? You create a scene at her party and leave and then ask her why she's not there waiting for you?! Yuvi sometimes you really make me wonder. Anyway, Alisha lies to Yuvi and accepts his apology.

The next morning, Manu and Rathi worry about Yuvraj. Yuvi asks them if they heard anything from Annie or Naro. They tell him that Annie and Naro tried to talk to Suvreen but her phone has been switched off since last night. Yuvi feels bad about hurting Suvreen. Just then Suvreen calls him and tells him that she has made her decision and wants to meet him. Yuvraj, although excited, wonders what her decision will be. Manu and Rathi ask him how he will react if she says no. He tells them no matter her decision, he will respect it. Annie, Naro and Zorro wait for Suvreen in DPSC. They wonder what her decision will be. When they spot her, Annie and Naro try to talk to her but she doesn't tell them anything. Zorro notices Suvreen's discomfort and tells Annie and Naro to let Suvreen go. After Suvreen leaves, Manu and Rathi also join them. They all wonder what her answer will be. While Rathi is confident that Suvreen will say yes, Annie hopes for the best.

Yuvraj and Suvreen meet in the same room where Suvreen previously confessed her feelings to Yuvraj.   I've got to say YuvReen are just too cute together. I absolutely loved their confession. The expression on Yuvi's face and the shy smile on Suvreen's face just made it that much more special. Smriti and Shivin have awesome chemistry! They totally made the scene that much more special!

YuvReen tell their friends about their relationship. All of their friends are excited to see them finally together. They are celebrate at the V Spot Cafe. There Rishab, Yuvi's cousin announces that the food and drinks are on the house in celebration of YuvReen's relationship. He also tells everyone that Yuvi partly owns the cafe. Suvreen is surprised to hear that Yuvi is a part owner of the cafe. She thanks him for helping her when things were not right between them. Yuvi tells her that no matter what happens, they will always be friends. Yuvraj notices that Alisha isn't around. Suvreen tells him to call Alisha and ask her to come to the cafe. Everyone encourages Suvreen to sing but she doesn't oblige. Finally Yuvi asks her to sing and she immediately says yes. All their friends ooh and aah at the sight! It's so cute. to see both of them finally together.

Suvreen and Yuvraj are happily dancing together when Alisha makes an appearance. She can't control her anger when she sees Yuvraj and Suvreen together. I always knew that Alisha was high strung so this week's episodes were not a shock for me. Alisha grew up in a world where people either use other people or get used themselves. She always assumes the worst in people and never lets them get beyond a professional relationship. Even when she extends a hand of friendship to Suvreen, she doesn't mean to become friends rather she meant for it to be a profitable professional relationship. She knew that if Suvreen and her worked together they would be a formidable team. With Yuvraj her equation was different. For the first time, Alisha let someone in. He affected her in a way which was completely unexpected. After spending time with Yuvi, she realized that she had started falling for him.

Just when she was about to tell him how she felt, she saw him propose his love for her rival. This shattered her. Alisha sort of had a mental breakdown. She lost control and tried really hard to understand why that happened to her. I expected her to have a breakdown but not to this extent. She almost made me question if she had any mental health issues! Heli did a really good job portraying Alisha's anger and loneliness. Although I feel bad for Alisha, I don't sympathize with her. Both Alisha and RC had their hearts broken on the night of the party but their different reactions to the event just shows how different they are. For Alisha, Yuvi is someone she lost because of Suvreen. For her the fact that Yuvi and Suvreen love each other is irrelevant. The only thing that matters to her is the fact that Suvreen got what she wanted. For RC on the other hand, he understood that Suvreen would not be happy with anyone else other than Yuvi and hence he decided to step away. With Alisha vowing to destroy their relationship, I wonder what craziness awaits Suvreen and Yuvraj. I just hope that their relationship is strong enough to brave any storm that comes their way.

So here's a snippet of what happened this week...

Daily Update: D3, February 21st, 2013

Swayam decides to spend the night at Sharon's since there is no one at her house to take care of her. Swayam sleeps in a chair by Sharon's bed so that he is close by if she needs anything. During the night, Sharon wakes up and admires Swayam as he sleeps. All this while we only Swayam admiring Sharon, now it's her turn! Sharon is sad because she has to stay away from Swayam. She apologizes for hurting his feelings. She gets very emotional when she tells him that even though she wants to 'love' him, she can't. By the way Shaton reacted, it is so obvious that she does indeed love Swayam. I get that she doesn't want to be a burden, but she has to understand that Swayam will never consider her a burden. I hope Swayam finds out about Sharon's asthma soon. This heartbreak is just too much! I want to see SwaRon as a happy couple! Enough with this emotion drama!

Moving on to TaaRey-land where everything is peachy. Taani sends Rey packing after the have their coffee moment. Aww! I've got to saw, they're scenes are totally aww-tastic! I just cant' stop myself from aww-ing whenever I see those two on stage. And I've go to say, I thought that Amar had really good chemistry with Shakti but now he's got amazing chemistry with Vrinda too. Way to go Amar and Vrinda for bringing the magic back on Dil Dostii Dance! While Rey is leaving, he tells Taani not to wait for Swayam. When Taani protests, Rey makes up a story to pacify her. Taani also asks him if he is prepared to face the AVP after the stunt they pulled by going to Nokia Indiafest. He tells her that as long they are together everything will be fine.

The next morning, Swayam wakes up early. He checks on Sharon and finds her sleeping. He prepares breakfast for her and leaves. Some time later, Sharon wakes up and sees that Swayam has left. She reads the note he left for her and gets emotional. She sees the breakfast he prepared for her and is touched. Taani on the other hand is frantic. She calls Rey worried because Swayam stayed out all night. Rey tells her not worry and that Swayam will be back. Just then the doorbell rings and it's Swayam. Taani yells at him for being out all night and not telling her where he was. Swayam smiles and tells her that he's happy to bear the brunt of her concern. Taani gets emotional and tells him that she was very worried about him. Swayam clams her down and both of them leave for college. All this while, Taani and Swayam never really had a lot of bonding scenes. Today's episode was different. Taani and Swayam finally seemed like brother-sister rather than two strangers living together. I hope to see more such bonding scenes. Shantanu is such an amazing actor. He performs so well. It's almost as if you can feel everything he feels. He is so easy to relate to. He has truly blossomed as a performer.

The entire D3 gang assembles in college and wonder what horror await them courtesy Khushboo Ma'am aka AVP. Sharon loses her voice and Swayam gets concerned. They wonder if they will be suspended for leaving college. Rey, Taani, Sharon and Swayam are prepared to let go of their positions if they are told to. Can't wait to see what happens next week.

Here is a snippet of today's episode...

Daily Update: D3, February 20th, 2013

Before I say anything about today's episode, we have to get into Flashback Mode and look back at what happened exactly a year ago...

Rey and Kriya saw each other for the last time. The two people that everyone knew were meant to be together were being pulled apart by circumstances. The Dazzlers had just lost at the Footloose eliminations while the Weaklings impressed the crowd with their unique performance. Kriya was upset that she couldn't support Rey when he needed her the most. She was more upset by the fact that she was forced to move away and break his heart. Kriya's helplessness and Rey's heartbreak really touched me. Rey knew that Kriya had a problem but Kriya couldn't tell him why she was forced to break his heart. Rey and Kriya had a bitter breakup to say the least. Kriya lied to him and told him that she used his position to get what she wanted. Side note - I really hope that Rey finds out the truth about Kriya. She wasn't a bad person. She was just a victim of circumstance.

On the other hand, Sharon blamed herself for the Dazzlers defeat. She felt as if she was solely responsible for their loss. She was upset and wanted to talk to her best friend, Rey. But in stead Swayam comes to meet her. She is angry at first but later lets out her feelings. He patiently listens to her and makes her understand that she is not at fault. He makes her realize that Shivam is the one responsible for the Dazzlers' defeat. He tells her to always follow her heart and do whatever she thinks is right. No matter how rude or indifferent Sharon was towards him, Swayam always found a way to make a difference. He always stood by her in every situation and made sure that things were right. He never left her to figure things out on her own, in stead he guided her and always supported her.

Now let's take a look at the snippet of today's episode.

Rey has found love again with Taani. He has finally gotten over his heartbreak over Kriya and moved on to the point where he can be in healthy relationship with Taani. Taani is certainly no Kriya. Taani is shy and sensitive whereas Kriya was a firebrand. She knew what she wanted and wasn't afraid to fight for it. Taani at first, was easily influenced by what happened around her but now she's slowly becoming more assertive. Taani and Rey's love story was no bed of roses either. They had their share of misunderstandings and fall-outs with they worked together to get out of them and reach a safe place. At first, I didn't really like Taani with Rey but as time passed and Taani's character developed from a ditsy girl with a crush on Rey to a mature character who started to understand Rey truly, I started liking them together. When Rey thanked Taani for being so understanding, I instantly thought back to when Rey was with Kriya. Their breakup defined Rey for a long time. He wanted so bad to believe in love but never wanted to get hurt again. Considering what happened to him the past, I can truly appreciate how much his character has developed and matured over the course of the year.

With Sharon and Swayam, I feel like they are going around in circles. Just when they're getting close, they are pushed back to square one. Sharon is ill and Swayam sneaks into her room to take care of her. He tells her that until she is well, he will not leave. Sharon yells at him but he doesn't budge. They finally have a heart-to-heart about their 'trial relationship.' Sharon asks him why he is still doing all of this even though their relationship is not moving ahead from her side. What Swayam tells her truly touched my heart - he tells her that even though her 'like' didn't change into a 'love', his feelings for her will never change. Her 'like' is all that he needs o move forward. Swayam is so devoted to Sharon it made me wonder if it was unhealthy. Then I realized that Swayam's devotion is the only way he can show his love. Swayam is so in tune with Sharon that even before she says anything, he already knows what she wants. Sharon too understands Swayam but tries really hard to suppress it. I hope that Sharon realizes that she can't force Swayam to forget her and gives in to her heart.

Let's step aside from all the romance and lovey-dovey moments, and focus on St. Louis reality. The gang broke the rules when they left for Goa. Now that they are back, they have to face the music. From all the previews, it looks like there will a rally of some sort in protest of the actions that the AVP takes. I can't wait to see what happens next...

Daily Update: D3, February 19th, 2013

After the V Wala Love Valentine Special we are back to regular episodes. In the last episode, the D3 gang was getting ready to put on their special group performance. Let's take it from there...

The gang is excited to finally perform as a group at Indiafest. They get on stage and literally set it on fire! I loved that it wasn't a same old hip hop routine rather this time it was more of a contemporary freestyle routine. Let me start with the song selection. I absolutely loved it! All of the songs were mellow and slow but the dancing wasn't slow per se. The choreography was phenomenal. I always wonder how D3 is going to top their own choreography but they totally did. I loved that each dancer got to showcase their individual style. It was an amazing mix of b-boying, tutting, hip hop, popping and locking, contemporary, belly dancing and Bollywood. Each and every cast member did an amazing job. Kudos D3. Take a bow - you guys rocked it!

After an amazing performance, it was back to reality for the D3 gang. Rey, Swayam, Sharon, Taani, Simmi and Nilesh come back to Bombay in Sharon's car. Rey drives while the others catch up on their sleep. He drops off Sharon first. When they are leaving, Rey notices that Sharon has a fever. He tells her to take care of herself. Swayam gets worried about her health when she starts coughing too. Sharon tells everyone that she just needs to rest as it was a hectic trip. She tells everyone not to worry about her and leaves. Nilesh and Simmi leave together. Rey tells Taani and Swayam that he'll drop them when Swayam tells them that he wants to spend some time alone. When Taani hesitates, Swayam reassures her to go home with Rey. I'm sure we're going to see loads of TaaRey moments in the next episode as Swayam is busy with his lady love!

Swayam sneaks into Sharon's room to make sure that she's actually okay. Sharon as usual is irritated by Swayam's behavior and yells at him to leave. He tells her that until he is sure that she's okay, he's not going to go anywhere! Oh Swayam! Why can't every girl have a lover boy like you? He tries to feel her forehead but she step back. Finally, he gets a hold of her and checks her temperature. He gets even more worried because Sharon has a high fever. He asks her about why she lied to everyone about her fever. Sharon thinks back to her asthmatic attacks when she was in Goa and how close Swayam came to finding out. She wonders if she should tell him the truth.

So here's a snapshot of today's episode...

Special Update: V Wala Love with D3, Suvreen Guggal - Topper of the year & Best Friends Forever...

So instead of having a regular episode, D3, Suvreen Guggal and The Buddy Project had a crossover Valentine's special episode aptly called V Wala Love. It was completely unique and entertaining. Something like this has never happened on Channel V and this was really good effort. I hope Channel V comes up with many more amazing specials just like this one...

V Wala Love took place on the D3 set. The D3 gang hosts a Valentine Special for all the lovely couples namely Yuvraj & Suvreen, KD & Kiya and Prithvi & Sanjana. They invite all of the couples to the event and prepare special dance performances to depict each of their love stories. They follow the acronym F.L.A.M.E. Each letter represents a couple and their love story.

F is for Friendship. Yuvraj and Suvreen's love story begins with their friendship. At first they hated each other's guts but as time passed on they became each other' closest friends. Whenever Suvreen needed something or was in a sticky situation, she knew that she could count on Yuvi. Slowly but steadily their relationship evolved from friendship to love. Rey and Taani danced to Agar Main Kahoon and very cutely depicted YuvReen's love story! After their dance, Suvreen and Yuvraj took to the stage and danced to Ek Main Aur Ek Tu. I've got to say Smriti and Shivin looked so cute together! I totally loved their chemistry! Let's hear what they had to say about their experience on the D3 set and filming the special episode.

L is for Love. Rey and Taani's story is full of love but also a lot of misunderstandings and pain because of the love. Taani came specifically to St. Louis just so she could be close to Rey. Rey on the other hand treated Taani just as his best friend's sister and nothing else. As time passed, Rey realized that he genuinely cares for Taani. On the other hand, Taani felt as if she was a distraction for Rey. Just when she decides to stay away from Rey, he confesses his feelings for her. And thus begins their love story. Swayam and Sharon portrayed their relationship and danced to Chupke Se. It was really nice seeing Sharon and Swayam finally dancing together and I've got to say Vrushika and Shantanu looked really good together! Later Rey and Taani had their first proper dance as a couple to Be Imtehaan. Check out what Amar, Vrinda, Shantanu and Vrushika had to say about the special.

A is for Avoid. KD and Kiya fit that bill perfectly! They've never gotten along but when they were forced to spend time with each other they discovered something special. They have amazing chemistry but refuse to acknowledge it. KD has finally realized that he does have feelings for Kiya but Kiya seems to adamant that there won't be anything between the two of them. Neha and Vicki dance to Ladki Badi Hai Kamal Ki. It was funny and everyone seemed to enjoy it! It made me want to see more ViHa dances together. Every one of their dances has been very entertaining and fun to watch! Later KD and Kiya set the stage on fire to Aa Dekhen Zara. They totally rocked it! Check out that they had to say about their experience.

M is for Meant To Be. Prithvi and Sajana are totally meant to be together. Everyone sees it except for them! For some reason Sanjana is always weary of Prithvi. Even when he tries to help her, she always seems to misunderstand him and his intentions. Looks like they finally clearing the air between themselves. Hopefully it leads to more that just friendship. Swayam and Nilesh dance to Meri Pant Bhi Sexy. It was hilarious! Macedon totally owned the stage and Shantanu totally supported him! I want to see Macedon dance like a girl more now! Later, Sanju and Prithvi danced to I'm The Best. It was full of energy and masti! Check out their experience.

E is for Eternal. No other couple other than Sharon and Swayam would be able to aptly fit this letter. Sharon first started out hating Swayam. Even she didn't know why she hated his so much. She hated the fact that she was affected by the things he did no matter how small or insignificant. Swayam on the other hand always loved Sharon. When everyone else around him saw her as an arrogant spoilt kid, he always managed to see her sensitive side. He was able to see a Sharon that no one else could. These two are just meant to be together. Neha and Aashi danced to I Love You Bol Daal. Aashi played Swayam perfectly and Alisha totally nailed Sharon's attitude. It was the most hilarious performance of the special! Amar and Macedon were so funny as cupids! Finally Sharon and Swayam took to the stage and danced to Ainvayi Ainvayi and totally blew up the stage. I'll say it once more Vrushika and Shantanu aka VruShan have amazing chemistry!

The special ended with a group dance to Radha. It was awesome seeing the entire D3 gang together after so long. The last time they has a Bollywood group dance was during the D3 Diwali Special. I'm hoping that we get to see more such specials. Check out what the D3 cast had to say about their experience.

They are so cute! I love how they pull each other's legs! It's absolutely hilarious! Love them!

Weekly Update: Suvreen Guggal - Topper of the year (2/11 - 2/14)

This week started out with the anticipation that Yuvi would propose to Suvreen during Alisha's birthday party. I still cna't forget my reaction when I saw this week's promo. It was just so awesome! I couldn't wait to see Suvreen's reaction to Yuvi's proposal...

Suvreen decides to go to Alisha's party even though she initially decided not to. Just because Yuvi is being a jerk, doesn't mean that she should punish Alisha and that too on her birthday! So Suvreen decides that for the sake of her friendship, she will go to Alisha's party. Meanwhile, Yuvi on the other hand is preparing for his huge proposal. He wonders if Suvreen will accept his proposal. He always wants Suvreen to be happy and hopes for the best. Cut to Alisha - she's got clouds under her feet. She gets ready for her most special birthday ever. She makes up her mind and decides to tell Yuvi how she feels at the party. It's only fitting after all! And let's not forget RC. The poor chap is in a pickle! He wants to tell Suvreen how he feels but doesn't want to ruin their bond. He finally decides that enough is enough and sets out to party determined that he will tell Suvreen how he feels.

The boys get to venue first and take care of some last minute preparations. Then the girls arrive. Yuvi is happy to see Suvreen but she ignores him. In stead she helps out with the arrangements. Everyone hides when Alisha comes to the venue. Yuvi plans out an elaborate surprise for Alisha. Alisha is overwhelmed by Yuvi's gesture and hugs him. She tells him how she feels but Yuvi doesn't hear anything because of the loud music. Alisha decides to tell Yuvi how she feels at the end of the party when they are alone. Suvreen, on the other hand, is upset by the fact that Yuvi is planned so many special things for Alisha and never did anything special for her. She leaves the room. I like the only person to notice her pain was Zorro. I tell you, he is the most perceptive person in the show. He follows Suvreen and cheers her up. He encourages her to go back to the party.

Zorro decides to spark things up. He tells everyone that he planned an exciting game for the night. He tells everyone that they will dancing and he will pick partners. He asks Alisha to pick her partner because it is her birthday. Alisha picks Yuvi even though Yuvi protests. Suvreen is saddened by seeing them together but pretends to be happy nonetheless. Zorro picks RC to be Suvreen's partner. RC hopes that their dance will give them the opportunity that he needs to tell Suvreen how he feels. He notices that Suvreen doesn't seem to be her usual self. He asks her is anything is bothering her but she doesn't tell him anything. He wonders if this is the right time to tell her about his feelings. He doesn't want to upset her if she is already not in a good mood.

Zorro, once again, notices Yuvi's and Suvreen's discomfort and announces the next change. He tells everyone that there is a twist in the game. Now the lights will go off and each person will have to partner up with the person they are closest to. When the lights come on, Yuvi and Suvreen end up standing next to each other. Alisha and RC are disappointed to see the people they want to dance with dancing with someone else. Yuvi and Suvreen begin dancing. Yuvi notices that Suvreen doesn't seem to be happy. He asks her what's bothering her. Unable to control her emotions anymore, Suvreen yells at him and tells him how hurt she is. Just when she is about to walk out, Yuvi stops her and finally tells her how he feels. He tells her that all this while he was in love with her but never understood his feelings. He apologizes to her for hurting her and promises never to hurt her again.

Everyone is shocked and happy. They are happy to see Yuvi finally telling Suvreen how he feels about her. Alisha is heartbroken to see Yuvi professing his love for Suvreen. She is even more hurt when she realizes that Yuvi was spending time with her only because he wanted to make Suvreen jealous. RC is shattered to hear Yuvi's proposal. He looks at Suvreen's reaction and understands that nothing can happen between him and Suvreen. He drops his mask and leaves the party. Zorro is once again the only  one to notice RC's reaction. He figures out that RC does in fact have feelings for Suvreen. Suvreen is also shocked to hear Yuvi's confession. She becomes very emotional and tells him that she has to leave. Yuvi lets go of her.

This is what he have to look forward to next week. I hope Suvreen says yes! Yuvi looks so hurt in the promo...

Don't forget to watch out for Suvreen aka Smriti and Yuvi aka Shivin in the V Wala Love special on February 18th from 6 - 8 pm. It's bound to be an interesting episode.

In other news, looks like there's a leap coming according to this article. It sounds like the creators are taking a leap to follow Suvreen interning at a fashion house. Life after college. Wonder how the creators are going to transition from college life to life in the real world. I really hope they don't get rid of characters. I would love to see Suvreen and Yuvi working together as designer and model/muse...

Daily Update: D3, February 14th, 2013

Happy Valentine's Day! So in celebration of Valentine's Day, I have a special gift for all you Dil Dostii Dance fans out there...

I love watching Behind-The-Scenes videos. They really make you appreciate all the hard work and effort that goes into making what we see on TV. Listen to the talented D3 gang talk about all the fun they had while performing for Indiafest. Even though I've posted sneak peaks of the performances, I can't wait to see the actual episodes. It's definitely going to be spectacularly awesome!

Vicki tells the gang that they are famous. Their dance video became really popular! Why wouldn't it become popular?! They were awesome! Everyone gets excited seeing their popularity! The gang gets into Indiafest hoping that the girls get a chance to perform as well. Looks like the stars aligned because we finally got to see the D3 girls do their thing! Yay! It was awesome! One group cancelled which let the girls perform. Alisha and Sneha choreographed the routine really well. Loved the mix of Bollywood with belly dancing. All of the girls danced really well. They were nothing but entertainment, entertainment and entertainment!

After the performance, everyone was excited. Nilesh thanked everyone for supporting them at Indiafest. The oldies reassured him saying that even though their mind told them to follow other paths, their heart was always with dance. Finally, it dawns on the gang that their stay at Indiafest has come to an end. They wonder what awaits them at St. Louis when they return. Taani tells them that Rey and her will be suspended from their posts. Sharon agrees and tell everyone that the same will happen to Swayam and her. But before they leave, they all wished that they got a chance to perform as a group. Just then one of the organizers approaches them and asks them if they can perform as a group. The gang is elated! They appoint Sharon as their group manager and she seals the deal!

The gang gets ready for the group performance. They are all in costume and go over some last minute things. Just then, Sharon walks into the room - in costume! Everyone is shocked. She tells them that she wouldn't let them perform their first professional routine without being a part of it herself. Everyone is excited to see Sharon ready to dance. Swayam is elated to see Sharon finally following her passion. After everyone leaves for the stage, Sharon takes a breadth from her inhaler and hopes that all goes well. Will Sharon be able to perform the entire routine? Will she have an attack at the end? All we have to do is wait and watch!

Here is a snapshot of today's episode...

Can't wait for the awesome V Wala Love Special on Monday!

PS - Check out Samentha aka Simmi's Instagram page for exclusive pictures of the D3 gang during the Valentine's Special episode shoot. I was so right about Vrinda's and Vrushika's costumes!

Daily Update: D3, February 13th, 2013

Let me start out this post by going into Flashback Mode. So last year, this time the Dazzlers and the Weaklings were getting ready to perform in the Footloose Eliminations. And guess who was the emcee for the occasion - our very own AVP! No wonder she seemed familiar...

Last year, Rey was going through a rough patch. While this year, Swayam is going through a really tough time. Last year, Kriya had to choose her friendship over her love and this year Sharon seems to be choosing her disease over her love. Both girls, Kriya and Sharon, were in a position where no matter which option they chose either they got hurt or people close to them got hurt. For both girls, their fight, if you will, involved dance. For Kriya - the fight to dance and for Sharon - the fight to stay away from dance. I personally like going into to Flashback Mode to see how much the characters have matured over the course of a year. So much has changed ever since Kriya left St. Louis and gave up her passion - dance. She not only hurt herself, but also ended up hurting the one person who was most special to her - Rey. It took Rey almost a Rey to heal and find love again with Taani. I just hope that it doesn't take a year for Sharon to realize that she will not be a hinderance for Swayam.

Now that things are in perspective, let's talk about today's episode.

The gang tries to make themselves comfortable in the storage room. The girls grumble because there is no room and the boys grumble because there's nothing they can do to fix the problem. In middle of all the arguing, Taani comes in asking for Swayam. When Rey asks her why she's looking for him, she tells everyone that she found blood on his t-shirt. Sharon instantly realizes that the blood is because of her holding on to Swayam on the beach when Rey was trying to pull her into the water. She feels bad about hurting Swayam and leaves the room to check up on him.

Sharon finally finds Swayam in the prop room. She sees him putting some sort of medicine on his injury. Just when she turns to leave, Swayam heard her and asks her if she needs anything. Sharon apologizes for hurting him. Once again Swayam asks her why she is trying so hard to push him away. She tells him that he is crossing his limits. What Swayam says next totally broke my heart! The poor guy is so in love with Sharon that he just can't live without her. His devotion for her is almost sickening! He picks up on the littlest things and yet Sharon can't trust him enough to tell him about her problem.

When Swayam asks her why she isn't dancing, she tells him that it is not his problem. He asks her if it because of him. She finally tells him that if she dances in the group performance it will prove to him that he does not mean anything to her. Now wait a second - when SwaRon became a couple, they promised each other that they would never let go of dance. So when Sharon initially broke up with Swayam she told him that along with him, she would also let go of dance. So imagine my confusion when she tells Swayam that she will dance to prove that he does not mean anything to her. Isn't she technically telling him that he does mean something to her?

Anyway, Sharon runs out the room after their 'talk' and gets an asthmatic attack. Simmi brings her the inhaler. She tells Sharon that she found out that if Sharon used the inhaler 4 hours before performing, she could possibly get through the routine without any problems. Sharon decides to take the risk. She practices for the group routine with the rest of the gang. Towards the end of the practice, she gets another attack. I'm starting to wonder will Sharon be able to perform? We all know that she does perform. I wonder if she get a huge attack after the performance. Will everyone find out about Sharon's medical problem? How will they react?

Here is a snapshot of today's episode...

Even with all the sadness and drama, I am glad we have this to look forward to. The D3 boys showed the world what they can do. Now it's time for the D3 girls are going to set the stage on fire! And from the looks of it, it's going to be a super amazingly spectacular performance!

In other news, I managed to find this little Behind-The-Scenes video of the basketball match filming in D3. Yes, I know it's old but it's fun nonetheless! Watch the boys show off their newly tanned selves!

Daily Update: D3, February 11th & 12th, 2013

Once again I wasn't able to write a post yesterday. So I'm going to combine yesterday's update with today's update. So let's get right to business...

Rey and Sharon manage to get the entire gang in the main event venue. They were able to register the gang for On-The-Spot entries. Everyone is excited that they are finally going to get to perform. The boys decide to perform freestyle, while the girls decide on a Bollywood performance. Sharon informs the girls that she is not going to perform. When everyone questions Sharon, she tells them that she made it clear at the very start that she will not be performing. Simmi covers for her by saying that since Sharon is not trained in Bollywood, it would be easier if she didn't perform. Nice save Simmi!

The gang finally reaches the stage for On-The-Spot performances, but the team's name isn't on the list. Just then, Simmi and Rinni run up on stage and announce that D3 will be performing. Rey, although excited, was upset because he lied to Taani. He tells the boys that even though he was going to dance, they shouldn't expect much from him. The crowd starts cheering and the boys do what they do best! I've got to say, this year's performances are all so much bigger and better than last year's performances. The boys totally rocked the dance floor! While watching the performance, I got the feeling that Amar possibly wasn't able to rehearse much considering he's in Nach Baliye. He wasn't in the first half of the performance. He was just in the ending bit. Regardless, it was really interesting and creative how the writers were able to explain his absence.

Taani comes to venue just in time to watch Rey dancing on stage with the boys. The girls are happy to see Taani in Goa. They tease her with Rey! It's just too cute! The D3 boys become a crowd favorite after they amazing performance. They are swarmed by fans but Rey seems detached. She notices Rey's detachment and calls him. He apologizes to her but she tells him that he doesn't look good with his sad expression. They have a cute TaaRey moment! Awww!

Here's a snapshot of yesterday's episode...

While Rey is happy to see Taani in Goa, Swayam is surprised and shocked! But he gets over his shock when he sees how Taani's appearance instantly changes Rey's sad mood. The gang decides to explore Goa as they didn't have any other performances scheduled for the day. They go out and roam the streets of Goa. Sharon starts coughing because of all the dust and uses her inhaler. Simmi notices Sharon coughing and tells her to go back to Bombay. Sharon reassures her that she is fine. She tells her that she is finally able to be normal with the rest of gang. Simmi agrees and tells Sharon to take care of herself.

Swayam walks by Sharon's side and tries talking to her. But she keeps ignoring him. He comes close to seeing her use her inhaler, but Sharon hides it and deliberately speaks to him very rudely. They have argument and Sharon tells him that he's crossing his limits. Swayam tells her that no matter how hard she tries to push him away, he will always be by her side. At this point, wouldn't it be easy if Sharon just told him what her problem is? No. Sharon would never do it. She wants Swayam to be happy but I don't understand how he will be happy without her. The SwaRon love story is more like an obstacle course. Wonder when they'll be able to overcome everything and finally be together.

The gang finds out that Rey and Taani are at the beach, so they all go to the beach. When they get there, they see TaaRey having fun. All the girls simultaneously Aww at them while the boys start to gag seeing all the PDA. Poor Swayam! He looked like he was really about to puke! Rey calls the gang into the water and everyone joins except for Sharon and Swayam. Aashi tries to pull Swayam in the water and Sharon gives her the dirtiest look possible! Totally saw that coming! Swayam notices Sharon's expression and tells Aashi that he's not coming. Finally Sharon too joins the gang. The boys later pull Swayam in. Rey notices the tension between Swayam and Sharon and thinks of a plan. He gets hold of Sharon and tries to pull her into the water but she gets a hold of Swayam's shirt and hold on for dear life. She pleads Rey not to pull her into the water and when he doesn't listen she asks Swayam to help her. Aashi watches all this and is saddened.

Here's the snapshot of today's episode...

Now for some news: Looks like Channel V is going to have an epic Valentine's Special episode. According to this article, the D3 gang is going to be celebrating Valentine's Day with Suvreen and Yuvraj from Suvreen Guggal, KD and Kiya from The Buddy Project and Ela, Sanjana and Vinnie from Best Friends Forever. Can't wait to watch that episode!

V Wala Love looks really promising! Hopefully it's full of romance and dance! Can't wait to see all the love stories come together!

Okay, if your guys remember, I had posted a video of Shantanu and Vrushika mentioning that they would be in Hyderabad for a pre-Valentine bash. I happened to find a brief video of them dancing together at the event. Check it out...

From the video it looks like not only did ShanIka have a good time but the fans too had an awesome time watching them dance and have fun!

Finally check out this cute interview of the two Gujjus on Dil Dostii Dance - Vrinda and Vrushika! These two are so cute! I have a feeling, the clothes they are wearing are probably their costumes for the V Wala Love special...

Can't wait to see them do their thing on the show!

Weekly Update: Suvreen Guggal - Topper of the year (2/4 - 2/7)

Now that everything is finally in order, things are going back to normal. Jasleen leaves for Kathgodam for her exams. When Suvreen thanks her for her help, Jasleen scolds her for making her get involved. She tells Suvreen that her actions are going to affect her future and that if anything happens it will be her fault. Can you believe that? I'm glad that Suvreen didn't let it go. She questioned Jasleen about who is at fault in this situation. I can't believe that Jasleen still cannot accept that she shouldn't have been at that lounge that night. Anyway now that she's gone, we won't have to deal with teenage tantrums anymore.

On the other hand RC, realizes that he has to get a hold on his feelings. Since he's Suvreen teacher, he can't tell her how he feels. Also keeping his feelings to himself is starting to bother him quite a bit. He tries to force himself to move on but just can't seem to. He tells himself that he should try to stay away from Suvreen as much as he can. During class, he seems distracted and extra harsh. He yells at the students for not doing their assignments well. Even though he likes Suvreen's project, he still scolds her for not being more imaginative with her ideas. All the students notice a marked change in his behavior. Zorro wonders why RC has suddenly changed his behavior. He wonders if that has anything to do with Suvreen.

Yuvi finally realizes that he should tell Suvreen about how he feels. He tells Manu and Rathi that he will propose to Suvreen on Valentine's Day. They are excited that Yuvi will finally tell Suvreen how he truly feels about her. They tell him that he should make his proposal a big surprise. They explain to him that if he ignores Suvreen, she will not expect the proposal and hence it will become more special for her. Yuvi thinks about it and agrees. He wants Suvreen to be happy always. Oh Yuvi! Yuvi and the rest of the gang decide to celebrate by going out for a drive.

Hearing about the drive, Suvreen is reminded of this moment and refuses. She later decide that she has to keep her distance and stay away from Yuvi. She realizes that she still hasn't gotten over Yuvi. The pain she feels is so touching. Yuvi was her first love and when he didn't reciprocate her feelings, she experienced her first ever heartbreak. How does one deal with that? Especially when the person you want to get over is around you all day long. Poor Suvreen!

Alisha realizes that she is in love with Yuvraj. The guy is so lovable, he has girls falling for him everywhere he looks! She decides that the best time to tell him about her feelings would be during her birthday party. She tells everyone about her birthday and invites them to her party. She tells everyone that along with her birthday party it is also a celebration of their victory. Annie becomes suspicious of Alisha's intentions. She wonders why she invited Manu and Rathi considering she does not really know them. Annie tries to tell Zorro and Suvreen about her suspicions but they brush it off. Just then Alisha enlists Suvreen to help her with all the party planning. Suvreen takes Alisha to Yuvi to help out with venues. Yuvi completely ignores Suvreen and focuses on Alisha. Suvreen notices it but doesn't say anything. Manu and Rathi notice that Suvreen was bothered by Yuvi's behavior and tell him that their plan is working.

Suvreen starts thinking about Alisha and Yuvraj's friendship. She remembers her phone call with Alisha the night Yuvi was stabbed. Alisha and Yuvraj were out together by themselves. She thinks about how Yuvi completely ignores her and feels hurt. She wonders if there is anything going on between them. Later when Alisha gives her a list of things for the party, she asks Yuvraj if he can go with her. When he refuses, she feels hurt. She starts noticing that Yuvi is being extra nice to Alish and reminds her of the way he used to treat her. When Alisha asks her about how she feels about Yuvi, Suvreen hides her true feelings. She later breaks down and forces herself to be happy for Yuvi even if he wants to be with Alisha. Poor Suvreen! I hope that all her tears will be worth it when she finally finds out that Yuvi too loves her just as much as she loves him...

So who will tell Suvreen about their feelings? Yuvi or RC? Who will Suvreen choose? I Can't wait for next week!

PS - Don't forget to check out the V Valentine Special of Suvreen Guggal on February 10th...

Daily Update: D3, February 7th, 2013

Now this is what he have to look forward to next week!!! Can't wait!

Finally the entire gang is in Goa for Nokia Indiafest! After meeting, they try to plan out their next move. Since they are not registered to perform, they have to think of some other way to get themselves on the performance list. Sharon and Swayam try to talk to the organizers while the rest of the gang sneaks into the hotel where all the other performers are staying. The manager they talks to tells them that St. Louis is not officially registered anymore. They tell him that since they performed last year, this year they are like celebrities! And this year they are not representing their college, instead they are a new group called D3. It was nice watching SwaRon in a comic setting after all the heavy-duty drama all of last week!

Once the gang is in, they have to figure out where they are going to be staying. Since the hotel is booked, there are no more rooms. Neha comes up with a plan - stay in a place that people don't access, that way no one will suspect that they are not performers. Everyone agrees but the girls put up a fuss when they find out that they will be staying in the stock room. Girls! They are always so fussy! Finally when they realize that they just have to manage for a night, they reluctantly agree.

While all this is happening, Rey tries to talk to Taani. Tanni tells him that no one is in college. She wonders if they didn't come because they are upset about the Indiafest fiasco. Rey finally tells her that everyone is in Goa. He tries to make her understand that they broke the rules because they were only following their hearts. He also tells her that no one told her about their plan because she is the GS. Taani is very hurt by Rey's statement and asks him if that was the reason why he kept it from her too. Ouch! Poor Rey is in deep poo poo! I get why Rey didn't tell Taani right away but the way he told her about it wasn't the best either. Taani tells him that she has to take care of things since she is the GS and hangs up on Rey. Wonder what Taani's next move will be.

Rey then joins the rest of the gang. They tell him about everything they have planned thus far. He listens to them and asks them the most important question - How will they gain access to the main venue since their names are not on the performance list? Everyone is stumped. Rey and Sharon come with a plan. Wonder what their next move will be?

So here is a snapshot of today's episode...

Also I happened to find this video of the D3 gang's amazing group performance. It's so nice to see the entire group dancing together - including Sharon! Hopefully this isn't just a dream like the whole Remo and the ABCD team thing. Regardless, they totally rocked it!  I can't wait to see the actual episode!

Check out this video of the entire D3 gang doing their thing! I earlier posted a video of Shantanu and Vrushika. This one includes some of the other folks too.

Looks like the D3 gang had loads of fun at Indiafest. Can't wait to finally watch all of the dance performance in the actual episodes!

Daily Update: D3, February 5th & 6th, 2013

First off, let me start by apologizing for my missing post. Yesterday was just a really busy day and by the time I got back home, I was just too tired to come up with a coherent post. So to make it up, I found  some cute little videos and interviews that I'll link in this post.

Firstly, I found a cool video about Shakti's calendar launch. This is her second calendar and this year she has completely outdone herself. Last year's calendar was all about a dancer while this year's calendar has a distinctly India theme. The pictures are amazing and Shakti is looks every bit the Gods and Goddesses that she portrays. Here is a link to the launch video. You'll see Sneha aka the old Sharon, Vinti aka Vishaka and Alisha aka Neha talk about the calendar launch and Shakti herself. Along with the calendar, Shakti and her talented sisters Neeti and Mukti also produced this amazing dance video. Take a look...

Here is a link to Shakti's 2012 calendar pics. Click here for her 2013 calendar pics. Shakti has certainly come a long way since her Dance India Dance days and I wish her nothing but more success.

Moving on to Shakti's counterpart, Amar. I found this interview of Amar where he talks about how he's not such a big star compared to other contestants of Nach Baliye 5. It was interesting to hear his talk about that. It's true that he isn't as 'big' as the other stars on the show but he does have his loyal fan following. Ever since Dance India Dance, Amar and Shakti have made a place for themselves in the hearts of people.

Amar and Charlie have been doing a good job on Nach Baliye so far. They were even the most voted couple one week. It just goes to show that as long as one entertains the audience, the votes will keep coming in. Popularity is not the only factor that brings in the votes.

Now let's talk about the episodes. Every thing goes haywire. Nikaf quits the team because he didn't have his way. That caused the AVP to pull the plug on St. Louis entry into Nokia Indiafest. Seems like she wanted a reason to pull the team out and Nikaf's quitting provided her with one. The rest of the team members are shattered to learn that they will not be going. All their hard work flushed down the drain. Sharon is shocked to see that the dancers are so down. She tells them that they should protest the AVP's decision. Just because one person quits the team, it doesn't mean that the other members won't be able to cover for that person. The new dancers question Sharon as to why she is so passionate about it considering she isn't dancing with them. Sharon tells the team that they have to fight for dance. Rey, Swayam, Nilesh and Aashi agree but newbies decide that breaking the rules would be too risky for them. They back out. Now Sharon, Rey, Aashi, Swayam and Nilesh are left by themselves. They try to figure out a plan that will take them to Goa for Indiafest.

Check out the link for the full episode video...

Rey tells the group that he can't hide their plan from Taani and storms out. Later on that evening, Sharon calls him and tells him that he has to spend time with her. She then proceeds to kidnap Rey to Goa! That girl always gets what she wants! The gang finally arrives in Goa and reminisce about their previous visit to Indiafest. After the gang arrives in Goa, Sharon and Rey start arguing. Rey was not happy about having to hide all of this from Taani. Swayam tries to handle the situation. He talks to Rey and tells him that he shouldn't hide this from Taani. He tells Rey that if Taani found out from someone else instead of him, she would be very hurt. So Rey calls Taani but before he could say anything to her, she hangs up. Swayam tries to apologize to Sharon for being too pushy. Sharon as usual ignores Swayam and all of his cute little apologetic glances.

Aashi tries to find out more about the registration process. She tells the group that everything can be done but the performing group has to have at least 6 dancers. Just when they start to lose hope, Vicki arrives. He tells them that they couldn't just sit back and watch their friends suffer. The entire gang comes to Goa to support them.

And finally, before I leave, here is what we can expect in the forthcoming episodes. Looks like loads of Dil Dostii and Dance! Can't wait to see all the dancing, romance and comedy!

Now that the Indiafest track in finally on air, there is more coming up from the team of D3 according to this article. I'm hoping it's something super romantic and exciting. Since it's going to be Valentine's Day, I'm hoping it's something super amazing! Can't wait!

Daily Update: D3, February 4th, 2013

First off, let me start with some exciting news! The ABCD folks are making an appearance in D3 this week! Yay! That should be exciting! Remo D'souza will be talking to the girls and boys of D3 about their passion - Dance! So I guess he's going to be the one who makes the oldies realize that no matter what, they should always follow their passion! Yay!

Check out this behind the scenes video. Remo, Dharmesh, Salman and Puneet talks about their experience filming with the D3 gang. It must have been nice for all the DID alums to meet eachother after such a long time....

Moving on to today's episode, SwaRon finally got their day! I have to say ShanIka have awesome chemistry! Vrushika just melted into Shantanu's arms! It was absolutely beautiful to watch. I can't wait to see more amazing moments like that again. The song was perfect. The dance was romantic. I loved the way it was choreographed. Every time Sharon moved away, Swayam was right with her and pulled her back in. It was like a perfect metaphor of their relationship. Every single time Sharon tries to run away from Swayam, he reassures her and always supports her.

I was right about Nikaf's negative intentions. First he tries to get the new members of the dance team to go against ReYam, Aashi and Nilesh. And when that doesn't work, he tries to start fires between the oldies and ReYam, and Nilesh. But thankfully, they saw right through his little plan and called him out on it. It's nice to see that even though they are not dancing together, they still have a strong bond. Now that is some real friendship!

Looks like the AVP is making an appearance in the coming episodes as well and she has another challenge for the boys and girls. It is her challenge that makes the new dancers drop out of the developing dance team. She was missing since the basketball match episodes. Also seems like the AVP is going to be bidding adieu to St. Louis according to this article. Seems like Khushboo was only supposed to be in the show for three months but her role was extended for this long. Anyway, I hope her character leaves on a positive note.

I'm so looking forward to the upcoming India Fest episodes! Can't wait to see all the performances! Here is a snapshot of today's episode...

Weekly Update: Suvreen Guggal - Topper of the year (1/28 - 1/31)

After Alisha steps back, Suvreen wonders what more she can do to make sure that Yuvraj gets his justice. Even though Yuvi tells her to drop the case, Suvreen continues her fight. Yuvraj worries about Suvreen's safety and doesn't want any of his other friends to get into trouble so he tells them that the nest thing would be to drop the case. Annie, Naro, Manu and Rathi reluctantly agree with Yuvi but Suvreen wants to get justice. RC assures her that even though what she wants is right, she has to try to understand why her friends are backing out.

Suvreen decides to finally talk to Jasleen about stepping up and becoming a witness. When Jasleen flat out refuses, Suvreen points out that Yuvraj was injured while trying to save her from the thugs. She should be thanking Yuvi rather than hiding from the truth. When their parents find out the real reason behind Yuvi's injuries, they are shocked. They try to make Jasleen realize that is anything were to happen to Yuvi, it would be Jasleen's fault. Being a selfish teenager, Jasleen blames Yuvi for what happened. I like how she refuses to acknowledge that she made a bad decision and now she has to face the consequences of her decision.

Yuvi on the other hand is back in DPSC. Manu, Rathi, Annie and Naro throw a special surprise for him in his hostel room. He is happy to be back but wonders where Suvreen is. He tries to convince Suvreen to back out but she refuses. She tells him that no matter what she will keep fighting for justice. Later Suvreen tells her father than Jasleen can step up by becoming a witness. Her father refuses. He doesn't want his daughters to be involved with any kind of police case because he doesn't want anything bad to happen to them.

Suvreen is disappointed that her parents don't support her fight. She tries to move past it but when a policeman calls her and tells her that the thugs are going to be released, she decides to have a talk with her parents. She tells her father that she understands his fears but she makes him realize that she is doing what he always taught her to do - Stand up for what is right. After a long discussion, her parents agree much to Jasleen's dismay. Suvreen and her father take Jasleen to the police station and are able to stop the thugs' release just in time. When her friends find out that what she did, they all come to the police station. YuvReen share a romantic moment after a long time. It almost made me saw "Awww!"

Just when everything is getting back to normal, Jasleen steps in to rain on Suvreen's parade. She tells Suvreen that if anything happens to her because of her involvement in the police case, she will never forgive Suvreen. This Jasleen girl is starting to get on my nerves! Everyone around her supports her so I don't understand why she is still so negative. Her sister and her parents are all with her and pledge to keep her safe so why does she have to blame everyone around her? Maybe it's her teenage selfishness getting in the way. But enough is enough!

I was starting to wonder what happened to Vivaan since the whole dinner incident. I finally got my answer - Vivaan was at camp. So he missed all the Yuvi drama. When RC told him about what happened, he was shocked and happy that everything worked out. I'm glad to see Vivaan back. I missed that naughty kid! Of course he teases RC about Suvreen. But RC ponders if Suvreen is in love with Yuvi considering the way she reacted and was affected by what happened to him. On the other hand, Yuvi wonders if Suvreen has developed a soft corner for RC because of his support and help with Yuvi's case. This whole life-threatening incident makes Yuvi realize that no matter what he should tell Suvreen how he feels about her. Finally!

I mentioned in a previous post about Zorro's perceptive nature. This week he was able to come to the correct conclusion that RC does look at Suvreen as more that just a student. I wonder if Zorro will tell Annie about what he thinks. I wonder if he will try to see if Suvreen too has feelings for RC. He also noticed how jealous Yuvi gets when Suvreen talks about RC or is around RC. I wonder what will happen there. And yes Alisha has totally fallen for Yuvi and she doesn't seem to be the kind of gal who would sacrifice her love for a friend...

Weekend Update: D3 Edition!

First off, let me start out by saying that D3 will be having another Dance Special on the 2nd and 3rd of February! Don't miss it! Looks like it is going to feature SwaRon, rather ShanIka and TaaRey. I can't wait to see which performances they include in this special...

And speaking of dance performances, looks like the D3 gang had a lot of fun at Nokia Indiafest. Here they are all on stage dancing to "Fevicol Se" from Dabang 2. The crowd cheers on the gang like crazy! Heck if I was there, I would be cheering them on too! The song is totally up Alisha's ally! She does an awesome song with her Bollywood, after all she is the resident Bollywood Queen at D3. The other person who stood out for me was Shantanu! He totally stole the show when he came to the front!

Check out the D3 girls do their thing! As usual Alisha's expressions are awesome even in this grainy video! I can't wait to see Samentha's aka Simmi's belly dancing moves considering she's the belly dancer among the D3 girls. Can't wait to watch the final performances when the episodes are aired...

Sneha also does an awesome job with the belly dancing moves which comes as no surprise after this performance...

After a whole lot of searching, I found this little clip of the D3 boys doing what they do best! Looks like it's going to be another awesome performance from the boys. Wonder if the boys will be better than the girls. We'll have to wait for the episode to see how the boys and girls fare. Can't wait!

Finally checkout this montage of pictures of the D3 gang's Nokia Indiafest experience. Looks amazing!

PS - Don't forget to vote for Amar and Charlie aka Charmar but only if you like their performance of course! You can vote by calling 1-800-266-7608 or voting online here...
