Suvreen Guggal - Topper of the year (3/18 - 3/22)

When Jasleen finds out that her mom is going to be meeting Yuvraj, she immediately thinks of a plan to expose YuvReen. She tells her dad that she wants to visit DPSC and get information about the courses offered at the college before her results are revealed. She convinces her dad that getting the information from DPSC will really help her make her decision about the education she wants to pursue. Her dad is impressed by her dedication and sincerity. If only he knew why Jasleen was insisting on going to DPSC during lunch time, he would not feel the same way. Anyway, he agrees to work half a day and take Jasleen to DPSC in the afternoon. When her mom finds out, she tells him that he doesn't have to work half day. She tells him that Suvreen is capable of bringing all the information that Jasleen needs. As Jasleen sees her plan flop before her eyes, she is forced to think of another way to out Suvreen and Yuvraj's relationship to her dad. 

Alisha becomes curious to know about Suvreen's mom's reaction to Yuvraj. She wonders if Suvreen's mother accepted Yuvraj or not. She hopes that Suvreen's mother does not approve of Yuvraj so that she can finally have him to herself. Oh Alisha! When will you figure out that YuvReen are perfect not YuvSha. When she finally sees Suvreen, she asks her about the meeting. She is shocked to hear that Suvreen's mother approves of Yuvraj. She wonders what she'll do next when Suvreen herself gives her the answer. Alisha congratulates her for telling her parents about Yuvraj. Suvreen corrects her and tells her that only her mom knows about Yuvraj. Her 'Pappa' doesn't know about him. She also tells Alisha that her mom and her are planning to tell her Pappa about Yuvraj slowly. Alisha uses Suvreen's hint and starts working on her guilty conscience. Alisha tells Suvreen that she should be the one who tells her Dad about her relationship. He would be upset at first but would prefer to hear such a thing from his daughter rather than anyone else. Alisha's words make Suvreen think about telling her father about her relationship.   

When Suvreen gets home, she decides to tell her dad the truth right away. Jasleen realizes that if Suvreen tells her dad the truth her way, he will accept it and give her permission to have Yuvraj as a boyfriend but if he finds out about Suvreen's relationship another way, he may not agree so willingly. So Jasleen creates a situation where Suvreen is forced to tell her dad her opinion about love. She also ends up telling him that she is in love with Yuvraj... 

Jasleen rejoices as her seemingly perfect Suvreen Di just admitted to making a huge mistake in the eyes of their father. Pappa is shocked to hear Suvreen's confession. He is even more shocked to know that Lovely knew about the relationship. He gets upset and leaves the room. Suvreen wonders what will happen next. She did not want to hurt her dad. She just wanted to tell him the truth. Jasleen is happy to see Suvreen finally suffer. She pretends to be shocked to hear about her relationship with Yuvraj. Suvreen immediately calls Yuvraj and tells him that she told her father about their relationship. Yuvraj asks her if she needs him to come to her house right away. Suvreen assures him that everything will be all right but is glad to hear that Yuvraj will stand by her side through any problem.  

Of course, when Yuvraj has relationship problems he calls Alisha. This time too, he calls Alisha and tells her what happened. Alisha pretends to be concerned about Suvreen. She tells him that Suvreen made a mistake by telling her parents about their relationship so early. Yuvraj disagrees with her and tells her that it was a good thing that Suvreen told her mother about their relationship. He is glad to know that they have her support and blessing. Alisha begins to start planning the downfall of Suvreen. Her obsession with Yuvraj is sickening! It sort of reminds me of Rahul from Darr. I half expect Alisha to utter the words - "I love you Yyyyuuuvvraajjj!" Meanwhile, Suvreen, on the other hand, calls RC for advice. She apologizes for calling him so late at night. He tells her that she doesn't have to worry. He reassures her that everything will be fine. He makes her realize that telling her father the truth shows that she is brave.    

The next day RC introduces Alisha, Annie, Zorro and Suvreen to Ira. Ira is impressed by RC's students. She tells them about the internship that she has planned for them. She gives them an assignment and is excited to see what they come up with. During the meeting, Ira notices that Suvreen is not focused. She later tells RC that she is impressed with all of his students except for Suvreen. RC is shocked to hear that Ira thinks Suvreen is not focused. RC tries to reason with Ira. He tells her that Suvreen is very hard-working and talented. He tells her about how Suvreen won the fashion show. Yet Ira doesn't seem to be convinced. She tells RC that she will find out when she sees Suvreen's assignments.

Speaking of Ira, it's nice to see some laughter back in RC's life. After the incident at Alisha's birthday party, it almost seemed as if RC was turing into his old grumpy self. It's really nice to see him having fun and enjoying with one of his oldest buddies. Who knows maybe there's a romance in the future? It would be fun watching Suvreen and the rest of the gang try to bring RC and Ira together. Vivan has already started planning to bring the two together. It would a fun track nonetheless!

Suvreen is worried the entire day. She wonders what her father's decision will be regarding her relationship with Yuvraj. She is unable to focus on her assignment and gets frustrated. Yuvraj sees Suvreen frustration and tries to cheer her up but in vain. Suvreen spends the entire day thinking about Suvreen and her relationship. He is inadvertently rude with Lovely. Suvreen calls her mother to ask her if her dad said anything. Suvreen's mother tells her that she has never seen her father so upset by anything. She tells Suvreen that her father may not understand her feelings. Suvreen gets even more hurt when she hears that. At the end of the day, Suvreen gets home to find her father waiting for her. He tells her that the next morning he wants to meet Yuvraj and talk to him. Suvreen is excited to hear that her father wants to meet Yuvraj. But she wonders what his decision will be.

The next morning Yuvraj come to Suvreen's house. He tells her father how he came to realize that Suvreen makes a difference in his life. He talks about how he realizes that Suvreen is a very important person in his life. Baldev becomes impressed with Yuvraj and realizes that what he feels for Suvreen is genuine. He tells YuvReen that he approves of their relationship. YuvReen are excited to learn that they have the seal of approval from Suvreen's small-town parents. Baldev tells Yuvraj that even though he approves of their relationship, he still has rules that both of them have to follow. Yuvraj and Suvreen are happier than ever!

Just when everything is normal with the parents, Alisha starts brewing trouble for Suvreen at the college front. When Suvreen excitedly tells Annie and Zorro about her father's decision, Alisha takes Suvreen's folder out of the room and hides it. When RC and Ira request to go over the assignments, Suvreen tries to look for her folder but doesn't find it. Ira gets annoyed with Suvreen's carelessness and dismisses her from the internship.
